To all PS3 Gamers out there...

There will be an online gaming competition specially for you PS3 gamer freaks from 19th till 21st November KL Convention Center. This PS3 Online Gaming Competition will be in conjunction with the MyBroadband 2009 and the launching of a Consumer Commerce Portal in December.

The genre selected for this online competition will be :

1. FIFA 09
2. StreetFighter IV
3. Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2

The competition in November will be on FIFA 09 & StreetFighter IV and for the launching of the Consumer Commerce Portal will be the Call Of Duty : Modern Warfare 2.

Further info will be updated here in this thread. Registration of group/clans will be on next Monday!!

What : Tournament for FIFA 09 & StreetFighter IV

When : December
Where : To be determined (somewhere in KL lah)
What : Modern Warfare 2 Tournament

I have some doubts about the venue of the tournaments. hmm.gif

KLCC tournament: FIFA and SF4 (Possibly offline multiplayer?)

Other place tournament: MW2 (Online?)

Why MW2 has to be done in another place but not KLCC? Broadband issue? Concerns that connection will be laggy? Game come out too soon?

If it is really true that FIFA and SF4 will be held as an offline multiplayer, then it will be a shame that there isn't any broadband connectivity involved in the competition while ironically the expo itself is to give an exposition to the public about broadband for 1Malaysia. laugh.gif

Please clarify and correct me if I'm wrong. icon_rolleyes.gif

I'm a colleague of Daddy_Estee and part of the organizing team for the above Fifa10 Tournament.

Sorry for the delay in providing the updates as we were informed informally that the event scheduled from 19th-21st is postpone to a later date. I'm still waiting for the official confirmation from the event organizer. Will keep all of you posted on the development.

Please do follow this thread as I will update on the status of the tournament @ Fifa10 & COD4.
