Company Name : M3NERGY BERHAD
Stock Name : M3NERGY
Date Announced : 03/11/2009

Subject : M3NERGY - NOTICE OF BOOK CLOSURE

Contents : Tax Exempt Interim Dividend of 25%.

Kindly be advised of the following :

1) The above Company's securities will be traded and quoted [ "Ex - Dividend" ]
as from : [ 18 November 2009 ]

2) The last date of lodgement : [ 20 November 2009 ]

3) Date Payable : [ 10 December 2009 ]

par value/share :1.0
currently share price :1.89
assume i got 1 million rm to buy this share which is roughly 529100 shares which total rm999999

INTEREST = 529100 x 1 x 0.25= rm132275

132275/1000000 x100 =13.2275%

Is my calculation correct?

looks attractive?

I think your calculation is very right
But where do you want to buy that much shares
If you tried it from the market .. i think you need to move the price by 0.20
the current price had already being adjusted to the fair value with the dividend
The price will go back to 1.70 after the x date.
good idea not practical unless you got the information before the announcement.
