get a single HD4890 la.
1. less power consumption 2. the HD4770 is stuck to 512mb RAM when you CF. HD4890 straight 1GB. |

CF only for a few reasons
1. you have a requirement that a single card already cannot provide 2. you already have CF / SLI board 3. you have an existing card and have met the requirement #2, and looking for a cheap / quick / less costly upgrade (Eg, buying 2nd hand unit card to complement your 1st card) 4. none of the above, just want to CF / SLI for lulz. |

btw i made a mistake on the power consumption. just referred to my list, it's the power consumption of a HD4830 / HD4850.
