e3100 is better than m1335 in all terms
m2300 feats huge subwoofer but the clarity quite close to e3100
not sure about m3200 but reviews said it's good
m3310 is not worth the price paid for the extra remote control lol

but if you can get m3300 you'll realize the clarity is awesome

Agree with what he said. I own a Edifier M3300 and I'm prety amazed with the output produced by this speaker. You must really give this apeaker a try. This speaker have serve me well for the past two years. Right now planning to upgrade to an even better speaker.

upgrade to Edifier S730 brows.gif
*
That one is considered a huge leap of upgrade. I'm actually planning to upgrade to Edifier S530D and I'm planning to purchase a Asus Xonar and custom made my own cable for the speakers. Will be dropping by at LowYat and Jalan Pasar by this weekend.

i guess so.. i listen to a lot of music.. i've been tuning for some time and still couldn't find the 'perfect sound' for my ears..  i wish i could return it and buy another one haha
*
Didn't you test the speakers on whether it is towards your liking before purchasing it? I will test the speakers kao kao and do as much research I could towards a particular model before purchasing one. Don't want to end up regretting it.

most of the time using it for general use (gaming, music and movies)

I would seriously recommend Edifer M3300. This speaker is an all rounder and you'll be impressed with the sounds. The clarity is awesome for the price you pay. Proud owner for the past 2 years and still kicking.

the best speaker for that budget is the edifier m3300 only?

what would u recommend for double the budget? maybe i can look into it and see it if justify my buying because staying in a rented house and i dont think i can blast that loud
*
Then you can try Edifier S330 or Edifier C3. C3 for all rounder where else S330 is for those who are serious about music. Since you already have one Edifier M3300, then you should double up your budget and give these two a try. If you're able to triple up your budget, then get Edifier S530D. I'm currently eyeing on this one.

hmm.gif , I will consider it. Thanks again. Need more suggestion. How about sonicGear ?
*
I will definitely avoid sonic gear. Had many bad reviews about this speakers. I rather you spent your money on Edifier Speakers.

well it depends on which state...not sure about kl though. i feel bad testing without actually buying from them lol

If you didn't try, you will never know whether the speaker suit your ears. What I usually do was audit myself. When ever the sales person try to entertain me, I'll politely tell them that I wanted to try them myself and I'll call them if necessary. With this, you don't have to feel bad. Btw, we are the consumers and it is their duty to entertain us regardless whether we ended up purchasing from them.

And no point waiting for PC Fair. The price won't differ so much and the environment is noisy. Drop by at Lowyat during weekdays and test them yourself.

Top up another RM3O and get the Edifier M3300. You'll be surprised on the clarity produced by this speaker.

Edifier S730D would be a better choice since it has a better bass as compare to Edifier 530D.

One thing I love about Edifier S730D is the design of the sub. Looked damn aggresive.

Where did you test them? Sri Comp and AllIT should have a Edifier S730D for you to audit.

budget around RM100.

btw, i have an eye for the Fujitsu 2.1 USB Speaker HL SPK K0004 Black because it is 2.1 (marketting gimmick?)  laugh.gif and the other just 2.0?

Thanks  smile.gif

You got few options to choose from. All of them are Edifier products
- M1250
- R18 USB
- MP21O
- MP 230
- MP221

I got these name from the Edifier brochures.

The best way to choose is for you to audit those speakers with your own ears.

can anyone recommend me a 5.1 speaker. price range from 300-500. asking on behalf of my friend biggrin.gif

I would recommend Edifier R501 as well. Heard alot of good review with this model. The extra, probably you can get a external soundcard but you may need to top up to get the 5.1 function.

Different individual will prefer different model. Some may like Altec and some don't. As mentioned, the best would be your friend coming down to audit himself.

*im thinking of Edifier C3.  smile.gif

As mentioned, you can seriously consider Edifier C3 if you're an all-rounder (Music and Movie) or either Edifier S330 if you're more into music.

@ zs3889 : Asking in wrong thread bro.

Looking to upgrade my current 2.1 M3300 Edifier.

Planning to get the Asus Xonar D2X, which speaker is recommended?
The soundcard is 7.1, so I guess it's best to fully utilize it. Currently looking it Logitech Z5500 and Edifier (what series) Or any other options?

Budget is not a problem, but one thing concerns me is the amount of space in my room lol. I know Z5500 has a gigantic sub woofer.

Lastly, how much are the speakers now?
*
For Edifier, you can give R501 a try. Since budget is not a problem for you, then go ahead and buy Edifier S550. Correct me if I'm wrong bro. but Edifier had only 5.1 speaker system. No 7.1 speaker system.
