Hi. Does Papago for Andriod give you:
1. Free for life update of maps.
2. Do you have to pay for the map, say....Australia or USA?

2. You have to buy BUT if you surf around you might be able to find Aus and US maps to download. Try gpsunderground.com and navitotal.com

I do use credit card on my smartphone. Is it possible for virus to hide in these 'ahem' version of maps?

And if you were to buy original map from Papago, how much do they charge for say....Australia or China maps?

i've tried sygic.

the UI maybe better but maps is not up to date.

my neighborhood is not fully covered even though already existed for like 6 years.

even google maps already covered my area long time ago.

To help you feel better, even Malfreemaps does not show some neighborhood roads that have been in existence for 20+ years. I was shocked.

So there, no maps are infallible.

I like sygic for their city maps which are more detailed than papago. You can find the lorongs which help a lot when you are caught in a jam. Another option I like is the fastest route option which papago x5 doesn't have.

I seen the video posted on the 1st page and I personally don't like the way voice work.

Take this scenario for example. You drive ahead and ahead of you, there are 3 roads A (280 meter), B(300 meter), C(320 meters). And you wanted to turn left at B.

While Papago will tell you to turn left at 300 meters but since these 3 roads are so close to each other, how do we know which is 300 meters? I know some other voice navigation will tell you "turn now" when you reaches B but not when you reach A or C.
