QUOTE(takius @ Jun 1 2015, 11:00 AM) hi guys... i want to know whether the HDMI cable length of 15 meter - 20 meter can support HD visual from Astro Decoder to my LED tv? its any issue to have a problem of signal interference??? if i use 15 meter - 20 meter length HDMI cable? any suitable type HDMI specification cable for 15 meter - 20 meter length ? help me plz... As long as the cable works, then won't have any issue then. You may ask the seller to test the cable for you before purchase. The key thing lie down to the repeater chip that make sure the signal remain strong on 15 to 20 meter cable.

There is an article online that caused lot's of debate regarding the quality of cable that affect visual and audio quality.
The article insist there is no quality loss on the cheapest cable that can transmit signal, even transmitting the 4K signal. It means if the cable can works, it will works flawlessly, regardless of brand and price.
HDMI cable only have 4 types.
1. Standard speed cable 2. Standard speed cable with Ethernet 3. High speed cable 4. High speed cable with Ethernet.
Those HDMI 1.3, 1.4, 2.0 standard are hardware spec, not cable spec, and these spec are built into the TV, Bluray Player, Media Player, Graphic Card, Projector, so no need worry on anything that concern.
If the maximum resolution is just 1080p, Standard speed cable is more than enough. If you have a 4K TV, then you must use high speed cable.
Down to the cable itself, all HDMI cable bundled with the branded Bluray player, from now on are High Speed cable with Ethernet. All cheap cable now are High Speed cable with Ethernet too, just that the labeling itself is not clearly marked.
So, the cable with Ethernet enable the HDMI-CEC among the device, most significant usage is the HDMI ARC. I have another old cheap cable without Ethernet, and it cannot enable the HDMI ARC. Other than that, it just works without issue.
All cheap cable that I bought can transmit 1080p 3D signal without issue, even the 10M non-branded cable can works. After 4 years, these cheap cable just works without any issue.
So, just buy the cheapest high speed HDMI cable with Ethernet you can buy without any doubt, even those without branding, they just works without any single issue.
If you really faced any issue, it is like the TV, Bluray Player, Graphic card has issue, not cable issue.

QUOTE(norasarah @ Dec 7 2015, 04:30 PM) have any different.. nvr tot about it before Clarification need to be given as a lot of shop just ask people to buy the most expensive cable without even knowing where there are only 4 types of cable. Cable length within 10 meter, all cable will doing fine for Full HD 1080p TV. For 4K, then "High Speed" cable is needed.
