Someone mentioned here that you should worry about your fingers. Very true as those normal thick gloves are no help in handling the DSLR. If you can, try getting those glove that makes your fingertip sticks out (if you can stand the cold that is). Don't worry about your camera, it will be alright in those extreme temperature. Bring extra batteries though.
