Yes, just copy all into POI folder and double check ureself to reconfirm ..

GARMIN XT -> Spanner Icon -> Manage My Data -> Custom POI Sets (Check all paths are correct)

POI is "point of Interest" such as tourist attractions, famous restaurants, well known commercial buildings, parks, schools, religious buildings & etc.

Without POIs and even road POIs, the maps almost empty and u can't even search & route to the POI or address unless you create your own POI.

It's is not by Garmin hor..Garmin is just the navigation software..POIs are part of malfreemaps & not Garmin.

Few setting in Garmin MXT required to see the customised POI by malfrremaps such as you need to set the map detail as "most',  Outline Detailed masp = 'Yes"; Map Features...All the options choose > "small lable". large label enable you to see the POI from far. but taken lotsa processing stress....thus heng kei!

For less lag u can execute the map and select the top of polygon settings (i can remember exact word but its above chinese ??? something .. there a tickable box saying "laggy"

During, installation, just choose Full installation & include Road POIs. If u dun disturb the settings, the complete maps will be in your garmin MXT except speed traps & few more other customised POIs that I'm not interested & dun border to Dl.

Well I normally go full load..all "Large lavel"...I'm not sure lagging but I dun feel it..but during map browsing & drag fast-fast for sure Hang kei! U can try asking aspire..he use the "lite version" ..according to him no Hang wor.. 

1. Open standard N5800XM file manager
2. Access inside ure SD card
3. Options-> Memory Card Options -> Format

voila .. done !
