My friends tube had this problem too - sent for repair to Nokia but still same problem. He just turned off the auto lock so he doesnt lock the phone at all nowadays which solved the problem - the problem was the slider button.

Hey guys... I dont mind getting a tube but im just afraid as I have heard SOOO many complaints about the phone - various problems.

So all you tube users here - shud I get a tube and live with the problems or get another less problematic phone

No, I was not discriminating against the tube. What I meant is that, of coz every phone has it problems - but I have heard alot of complaints from people regarding their tube. Thats why Im asking. Anyways how much is a Zitron?

What about the unlock slider key - which causes the screen issue. Solved?

Was at the Nokia centre in Gardens earlier - the sales rep told me 5800 is memang problematic. But most of those problems was when the phone was first released - and most was software issues. The latest phone models are ok and have very minimal problems (zitron sets).

I think memory card problems are caused by viruses from PC.

I read yr stupid post and I had to voice my views.

You come here and ask a stupid question - a question I consider stupid cos if you have been reading the N97 thread you will know alot of N97 users have been doing that - using their maxis broadband sim card to surf on their N97.

When cplow1 tried to help you by saying that if you can do it with celcom he's pretty sure you can do it with maxis (which is true), you using half the brain cell you have, could not understand what he was saying so you decided to post that stupid reply (above).

My point is - if yr too dumb to realise when someone is actually helping you - dont ask for help. In fact, sell yr 5800 and use a 1202.

p.s. Im expecting you to give an equally stupid reply to this post...

Nokia already released a few big guns this year - they might keep the N900 for next year
