You can try using Sora's.

There are 2 ways to do this though.

1: Get a cheap mod-able stick, and change them to sanwa parts or whatever you prefer.
2: Get those known sticks out there like HRAP3, etc etc.

I personally am aiming for the HRAP3 though.

if you're getting intuos, then get intuos4 instead. if you're damn pro, get cintiq, if you're cheapskate, get bamboo. lol

I've been in toa for nearly 4 years and I've not gotten a tablet. lol

i live in 3d animation world since my last intern place was a 3d animation company and i taken an interest in line art drawing as well plus i do use the table there from time to time since using it to photoshop as well as using Zbrush is much easier.

@sora : i have 2d animation and illustration as a part of my course. so a tablet is a must. i also have 3d subjects and as crimz said, it's like a help from heaven to use it on zbrush.

if you're only working in something like poster design or website or video or vectors or whatever, then yeah, tablet is not that important... but if your work involves any slight chance of drawing, get a tablet.

Hahaha, I've not step into the illustraton part but my course did have some basic illustration and whatever. lol

As for 3D, I used lightwave just to do my modelling and some animation. Not up to the Maya standards.

But I'm focusing more to the interactive side(Action Script3) for me.

eh i forgot to ask, any place in kl i could browse for tablets?

i dunno. hahahahha if shops, lowyat have a lot. specs and prices you might want to browse around here in the forum. should find some.

lol suddenly out of topic and yeah. lowyat seems to be the only place I know that sells all pc stuffs. lol

wha... almost 4 yrs.

Cause I'm a sad failed retake student. sigh.

No. Don't. The total amount I've spent on getting a cheap stick and modding it costed more than a HRAP3 itself.
And the effort and frustration I went through just make it not worthwhile.

So unless you really know how to mod(soldering skill required) and know what you're doing, you're better off with the HRAP3.

Yeah, that's what I thought as well.

Which lead me to the reason to just get a HRAP3.

But then again, I prefer to just find a person to do the modding for me instead when I wanted to.
Since I have 0% experience when it comes to soldering and modding.

Hm... everyone's planning to get a stick. This is tempting...
