nop. it's true. doesnt matter if you turn it on or off today. it's a problem with the hardware clock, which is run by the battery and motherboard (like a pc). so doesnt matter if you turn it on or off, still kena.

it should be around 2-3 hours super car ride from KL. i'll pass lol. shame that the cyberjaya campus is just beside my house. and i've just got my hope high. sigh
