Queries error uploading pictures,pls help...

THE FOLLOWING ERROR(S) WERE FOUND
The requested file upload failed because suitable permissions have not been enabled on the 'uploads' directory. Please contact the board administrator and inform them of this error..

well, to get around this - host your images elsewhere and use IMG tag instead of attachemnt.

Well, if use IMG tag, there can be only upload 10pictures for one post..

because if use attachment, picture will be smaller..to get bigger view can click...but if use IMG, picture will be at original resolution. this will mess up the thread...i intend not to resize the picture to lower resolution so that viewer could get clearer view of my product.

You can select to upload in thumbnails form using external image hosts like imageshack.
You do not need to reduce your resolution. smile.gif

Actually, most of image hosting site offer thumbnail view. Even the lowly PicturePush.com and InselPix.com offered that feature.

i oso got the same problem here. now i got this msg in the redbox at the top of the site.


We have encountered a hardware error with our image server and have switched to a backup server. Uploads and attachments are suspended until further notice.
