make sure your cmd target path is the tools folder..
C:\AndroidSDK\tools\> adb shell |

i actually ran into that problem. i gave up on using adb shell and went straight to use flashrec and copied the files into the sdcard root folder. then it was a breeze from there.

may i know ur hero's build? some build need to create goldcard 1st before u can proceed with rooting..

i've successful flashed the modaco rom

select a field and the touchscreen will appear..if it doesnt, press the trackball inwards when a field is selected..

i type adb shell reboot reloader
it say daemon start sucessfully but the device no found why ? i had connect it to the usb already |

ademon start and device not found has nothing to do with each other..Check your drivers..There is somewhere in this thread you need to some searching on how to install the drivers (I'm guessing you're running Win7)
