I think Messi will win it. But if I am given the chance to vote, my vote will be:

3) CR/Iniesta

5) David Villa

With achievements such as Player of The Tournament of Euros 2008, UCL Best Midfielder 08/09 with most assists, MOTM in UCL Final, what else should Xavi do to convince people that he deserves the gong this year. He is instrumental in Spain's 100% record run in WC qualifying round as well.

My vote goes to Messi/Etoo/Xavi/Iniesta.
It would have gone to CR if he had helped MU win the CL.
