For barracuda, you have to buy those pc sound card(to fully utilize)
Since they have slots for different speaker output
You can also use usb if I'm not mistaken
But only the pink and green jacks for most usb soundcard

Without USB it wouldn't work USB helps to power the barracuda

Last time I asked around if I should go for the SC
Many ask me to go for creative SC as they are better
More experienced in soundcard industry making compared to razer
But I traded it for a Siberia few months back. Never regretted
Barracuda makes your head hurt after 20 minutes
The cushion is also very thick and tend to make your ears sweaty quickly
Sound is very nice if you plug all the speakers(centre, left right and sub woofer)
If not it works like just a stereo speakers. Music/Movies wise
Siberia beats barracuda hands down even though you plug all the jacks in
Gaming? I feel the barracuda is much more accurate in helping me place my enemies in the battlefield
I can differentiate easily. Siberia still works. But not as accurate
Maybe I need to spend more time with my little pet

I've washed my mantis before
Hand wash. Put clothes detergent with cold water
Then put your goliathus there for 10 minutes
Use one end of the cloth and rub with the other side
Do this for both sides and wash with water till clean
Then just put your goliathus inside a pale filled with water for 15 minutes
After that just put on your drying line. It will be brand new
I've done it on my mantis 3-4 times and it doesn't lost its touch

@zeroyang Yes. It still works with 2.1,5.1,7.1 soundcard
But it will only be a 5.1 if you use a 7.1 soundcard
5 speakers and 1 subwoofer

Actually the main purpose I went for the mamba is because of the wireless+DPI and shape
I like the DA shape but the DPI is just not enough
I will go off pad to slide across my screen even at max DPI
So mamba helps solve all of the problems and running at 5600DPI satisfy me
Can do 720 degree rotation in mid air. I wanna ask, TT today still on?

I thought you said this the other day after getting your DA(V2)

Today is the 8th of November and mamba already
Mamba and DA feels almost the same for me except the arch is a little higher
So you guys actually lift the mouse and swipe then shoot
I just swipe left and right and kill I feel tired if I lift the mamba too much

Who say I got difference
For me I get to swipe faster with mamba. DPi gives me the added advantage

Still prefer SS pads over Razer. The feeling is much better for cloth pads
The cloth quality is much more better if I compare Qck with my mantis

Sometimes I step down to 800 with the switch on the mouse

Megalodon should be better as it's 7.1 while barracuda is only 5.1
Wider range would be a better add to your line
Virtual surround sound is when 1-3 speakers work to give output of 7 speakers
So it's something like jack of all trades master of none
However the real surround sound you have all 7 speakers and they master in their own field
They don't share like virtual. Headphones now, it's all virtual if they say 5.1,7.1 and so on
