if longer means next year is real unbeatable deals than i am all for it.

doesn't make sense if Lowyat is cheaper. If ordinary time is cheaper except for those 3-4 items than what is the point of a fair right?
*
Lol. Sounds frustated but its kinda true that not much cheaper than lowyat. In fact, sometimes its more expensive. Especially for those who wanna build your rigs, go lowyat the price is almost the same but u get it on the spot and free building for you. Go fair, not much cheaper but need to build on your own or collect it after few days at their shop at low yat. Swt".

Bought a Canon printer MP145 during last fair, cost me RM199. Then I went to lowyat right after getting out from fair to build my cousin rig, and saw the same printer selling for RM175 at All IT with all the free gift given to me same as pc fair. Sounds unbelievable but it really happens. But I do enjoy checking out new products and girls of course.

Would the HDD be cheaper in PC fair than in shops?
*
Yes, but not much difference. If u want to have a trip to there to join the fest or got lots of things wanna grab then go ahead. If you just want to get the hdd, then the travel cost and parking fee most probably cost the amount that you are saving from the hdd.

atom outdated lor now got pentium edi. check out Dell 11z/Acer 1810TZ

Its not to say that ATOM is outdated. It different line of product my fren. Atom is targetted for Netbook use only which lack of multimedia performance. Dell 11z and Acer 1810TZ(Timeline) use Core 2 solo processor which is SU3500-SU4100 processor. This processor are higher performance processor which targetted to save on battery life. The difference is significant and the PRICE is even more significant. Netbook are priced at 1k-1.5k but Ultraportable laptop using Core 2 solo are price at 2k+. So its unfair to compare like that. Just like comparing apple to orange.

Just go ahead with your budget. Its always the right thing to do to stay with your budget when buying electronics product. Cos wehn you look at different products, they will say "AIYO, add abit and you can get Core 2 solo, Then add a bit more You get Core 2 Duo". At the end, its away from your budget. So stick to your budget.

Added on December 2, 2009, 11:38 pmBtw, I am selling Windows 7 laptops and netbook under Microsoft and Thundermatch. Come give me support, I will recommend the best one for your budget.

Erm. Yes. It will be slightly cheaper. But usually hard disc price will be lower on last day. I would say Western digital Mybook or Seagate Freeagent. Both are good products but I personally favour Western Digital cos so far it never fails me.

Lol. I don't think so. Usually they only have PDA phones over there. Like HTC winmo and android phone, or Apple Iphone. Didnt see selling normal phone before. Mayb you can try your luck? But if looking for cheap phone can just look at Garage sales, a lot of nice pricing over there.
