I have just received email for DKSH Malaysia Management Trainee Program‏.
Is there anyone here know what DKSH business nature? And the offer they will give for management trainee position?

Because I have few other offer and is hard to decide...that few offer already confirmed to hire me but this one looks interesting but I haven't had time to interview first and decide as other company don't wait...

I was the dksh management trainee before... I find it not good.. thats why i leaving dksh. The trainee just no different from normal staff and you get low pay. So better join as normal staff.

Hi bro, so u leave...mind to tell me about it? like how low is "low pay"? which dept u getting into when you're in DKSH ?
coz in the job ads...the requirement for mgmt trainee is 2nd upper class above...and some of this and that...but they pay low salary as MNC? they making shame their brand name?

dksh have many type of business..

they involve in logistic, distribution, manufacturing and others.

big company but i heard they say not very good as last year retrench alot of ppl...

my company is competitor to dksh - aka diethlem, harpers trading

MNCs, at the end of the day, are companies anyway. Management Trainees for these biggies are really no different from normal staffs. Those so called 'la la la we will train and groom you to fit into a manager role' is total BS!

I would say it's all the same. Most importantly you need to do something you enjoy doing.

Hahaha, not macheda....perhaps I can help you ask my friend in DKSH. She is working inside. But 1 think which hinder me to go for this interview is the person who send out the email is from DKSH transport wo. DKSH transport I think in Klang but not main office.

I was invited to the interviews too... however it the interview is on for 2 days.. which is a lit annoying .. I am still going because I heard they have good on going trainings... like every month... my friend is there and she mentioned that the salary is around RM 2500.

BAT had a big retrenchment the other day... got people mogok outside their office.. caused bad traffic jam..

DKSH is basically a distributor and they carry a lot of brands. A senior used to work there and........... well, she left after several months. 'nuff said, it was a good working experience and nothing more.

in term of career advancement......i heard quite difficult there. i think company politics.

my fren work there...stay quite long.cannot go anywhere there. then move to other company already..2 already moved.1 fren looking for job at other company same biz nature now..
