Did you know that you can make amendments on cinematic colour adjustments and giving instruction via webcam simultaneously on REAL TIME and ON THE GO? 2 seconds lag time only. Even those American lose out big time. Don't say OMFG! when you experience the Internet connectivity in Japan or you'll end up looking like a moron like me.

Wookie~~~here's something that I would like to ask in favour of getting help.

I was busy with work over the weekends and finally I managed to purchase WE2010 on Monday evening. I've read the postings here and there are patch/update available?

I've done my homework and it seems that without Internet connectivity, I would still able to upload the patch/update from a pendrive just like those firmwares that I've uploaded before, right? Kindly correct me if I'm wrong.

What folders name do I have to create, if possible, a step by step instructions would be great. For the time being, I'm browsing around for more information pertaining this matter.

Regards, Joey

if you mean the official patch from Konami, i think you have to download in-game with the access of internet connectivity.

if you are talking about self make patch/option file (that consists of correct kits) then yes you can upload it from a USB drive, after someone give you the link (in which one of the forum member inesen is doing right now and he is so kind to spare me his job with the stunning and real alike EPL kits thumbup.gif )

if inesen agree to release his decent OF, i can guide you all how to copy to your save file step-by-step. smile.gif

WOW! That's great! I'll keep a look out on this thread. I think you can be our WE/PES spokesperson. Been very helpful and willing to share information, write outs (I've read your comment in previous postings and I must say, a job well done). Really appreciate your help and for the rest, enjoy the beautiful game.

Just a quickie question:
Is it okie if I didn't download the lastest patch from Konami? Can I still use "Inesen" Option File?

Regards, Joey

p.s: I've download it the option file from the link provided. Now it's in the process of getting it unzipped to my USB driver.

Added on November 12, 2009, 10:42 amCompleted the unzipping process. I can see under my PS3 folder, in it there's a SAVEDATA folder. It contains many small folders (uniforms).

What is the next step?

1. Switch on the PS3 system.
2. Insert USB drive into the USB slot.
3. Go to "Save Utility" and delete any existing EDIT DATA?
4. Proceed by copying those small folders that contain uniforms/kits in there?
5. Slot in the WE2010 Bluray dics and it'll automatically load it.
6. VOILA!

Please correct me if I've made mistake along the way.

Regards, Joey

The problem is I don't have Internet connection at home.

Question 1: Is it possible to download the patch into my USB drive and upload it at home?

Question 2: Would it be fine if I skipped the uploading of the patch and go directly for the Option File upload?

Please advise.

Affirmative. Still a couple of hours to get back home. Can't wait to experiment it but I think I'm going to have some complications back home. I'll see if I can grind everything through.

Thanks man. You've been very helpful.

Joey: 'Okay, Houston, we've had a problem here.'
SeanWong: 'This is Houston. Say again please.'
Joey: 'Houston, we've had a problem. We've had a different version of Edit File.'

At first, I tried copying the Edit File from USB drive to the PS3 system. Fine. Encountered corrupted file. But I found out the problem which is the folder creation part. (This has been rectified and fixed. I managed to upload the whole file, one by one into the system)

However, when I slotted in the WE2010 disc, it loaded until 66% and this pop up window came up, which triggers not only frustration but also I started off cursing right in front of my LCD monitor.

Anyone can guide me so that I can enjoy the edited kits, please?

Regards, Joey

p.s: Currently I'm using Firmware 2.80. (Seems to me I didn't download the latest Firmware) could this be the problem? The one reason that I could think of is the Konami patch that I've yet to download.

Oh before that, mine is WE2010 Region 3

we2010, great game, slow pace, build momentum bit by bit, and the goal...oh the goal, feel different for each goals.
the ball have a really2 good physic, so anything can happen, like a real soccer.
even small no name team can beat a giant team this time around. thumbup.gif
one that i hate about we2010 are the stadium, emptied and liveless..and the keeper are tooo superb.
*
The stadium is well packed. Full house. Anyway, for the drawback for WE2010, it would be:

1. Bloody annoying commentaries by Jon Champion and Mark Lawrenson. I have to admit, Martin Tyler and Andy Gray's commentaries are spot on and they are on a different level. If only KONAMI would bring them in and bin Jon and Mark off.

2. Where's the fukken "sudden cheering" when you scored a goal??!! Where??!! Where??!! Where's the uproar when someone scored a goal??!!

3. The full licensing issue. Although the UEFA Championship indeed look good. But it would be complete if they managed to bag the full license. (I know this is too much to ask but as an end user, I am entitled to voice any dissatisfaction(s) so that they can improve)

4. The inclusion of email from our team helpdesk would be a nice add on. They should come up with something more like a professional football management office. (similar to FIFA10)

So far, these have been the setbacks that I could see from WE2010. The rest are top notch. Even my wife says the faces of the players are more realistic in WE2010 than FIFA10.

Regards, Joey

p.s: The tempo of running and the build up tend to be quite pacey. Is it me or is it something else? I've read a few postings here by others and most of them are saying the tempo is a bit slow? Hmmm~~~~

Yes, the game is fast much faster than we09 version. Kinda dissappointed with that and the ping pong passes.. But online, its alright
*
With that reassurance, I guess it's not just me that feels it's much pacey. So, what's the latest PS3 Firmware? Firmware 3.01? Alright, off I go now to download the Firmware.

Regards, Joey

p.s: Sometimes I found it very distracting especially when I want to build up my attacks from the mid field. Makes my eyes all peeled up and making decisions on the fly on who to pass the ball to or switching side to side. Overall, I'm still getting the hang of it. Got my score 3-0 against Panathinaikos F.C. (Difficulty setting is at Professional)

Regards, Joey

p.s: The goalkeepers are slightly improved, but definitely still prone to silly mistakes. But it wouldn't hampered much to cheap goals.

WOW! I must say the step by step instruction by Sony is very good. Comes with graphics too.

http://www.us.playstation.com/Support/Syst.../pc_update.html

If this latest Firmware doesn't help, I think I have to lug my PS3 system to my friend's place to hook it up and download the KONAMI patch. That's the last resort.

Regards, Joey

p.s: Download at 15%. Keep my fingers crossed for later. I'm going to try it after work. I don't want to curse again.

Eh! Wait a sec~~~Am I supposed to delete the OPTION FILE? If I'm not mistaken, I DID NOT DELETE the option file.

Is it Option File folder or Edit File folder that needed to be deleted?

p.s: Oh bummer! Now I'm having headaches. Should I just bloody delete everything off? I'm terrible, horrible, and vegetable when it comes to download and upload stuff. I'm getting rusty on technological procedures. Sigh~~~Download at 36%

Wookie! I'm going bonkers with all these. I'll try all the available options possible. But to be honest, I've got a bad feeling about it.

Aiks! I have to go back and reconfirm if I'm on the Home ground or Away ground.

Regards, Joey

p.s: I'm still experimenting the game. Still haven't read the manual booklet yet. Having a family at home really saps away your time. Japanese commentators are very much like those Spanish commentators. I don't know what they say but they really have their own way of expressing themselves. Hahahaha~~~

I laughed my pants off. Good catch there! At least the game will last until the World Cup comes next year. Well, it's just months away but I'm looking forward to it as well.

Download at 92%. I'll do some readings on the KONAMI patch first. See how the process goes from there.

At least you can have 3-4 matches EVERY NIGHT.

Mine can only played during weekend, and provided i didn't ask to be a driver to fetch my family go shopping when my wife suddenly think she want to buy some stuff, then whole day gone cry.gif
Just take my words. Do enjoy your gaming life as much as possible while you are not engage in any family matters now.

You'll know what i mean after you got married... sweat.gif

Very true indeed. I'm married too and a kid will be coming this December. Even now (sometimes, dependant on my other half), I can't even have a night for gaming. Sometimes during weekends, when I thought of having the whole day for gaming, then suddenly wife wants to go shopping. Usually half a day will be gone. Sigh~~~there's significant difference when I was still studying and where I'm standing right now.

Regards, Joey

p.s: I'm playing games while my wife is sleeping. Sneaking mode. Hihihi~~~

Just a quickie. What is the programme that the PS3 Firmware uses to open? I accidentally pressed wrongly and it must be opened with Adobe Reader 8.1. Would it give any problem if I insert it to my PS3 system? I'm not sure if the programme (Adobe Reader 8.1) screw the whole thing up.

Please refer to the last icon there. Help needed.

What the heck is wrong with me today! I'm screwing everthing up since yesterday night. Sigh~~~

We have the same problem. Managed to upload Firmware 3.01 during the weekends but the pop up still shows the same reason. I guess I have to download the Konami patch in order to enjoy the amended kits made by our fellow forummer.
