i mean it hang until controller cannot function. Have to restart the PS3

It always hang about 2-3 times when im at the XMB there. Not when im playing online

What firmware are you guys on? mine is 3.00, must i upgrade to 3.01?

Everytime u reboot ur modem/router, ur IP address will change, if ur area there got different IP range like 60.49.xxx.xxx,60.50.xxx.xxx, 60.51.xxx.xxx and other IP, try each IP range. Bcoz the best connection is both player got the same IP range in local.
U got ask the technician add ur PSN or not...

Download n Upload speed test if you are using Asia PSN id i think will not work.

So far the connection was so playable coz manage to draw twice and win the rest.
(got my streak trophy for winning 5 time straight)

I regret not taking his PSN ID u know. That time i didnt know we can store friendlist in PS3. Juz tot of buying it and want to play online only . Only after playing F***10 against one LYN member, he ask me to join this forum. From that moment the world open up for me n realised how noob I am in PS3 world . I wonder how after 28 years living no one ever introduce this forum to me. Now Im joining this as an old timer u know. In gaming industry, our age is consider old enough TS.

Actually i didnt understand what r u saying about IP range bla bla. I going to give it a try again tonite. Hopefully its going to be stable. I think we enter online right after the server is on could contribute to this right? Maybe after a month the server will be more stable i guess.

Added on November 6, 2009, 9:31 amlast nite manage to play 2 games in 2 hour..1st game with japanese, no lag at all...
2nd game with another japanese, lag for almost 5-7second... wtf....
huh... n try to play with pojiekun, couldnt connect at all... wanna know?
but i think because the server is new... its normal to have this kind of problem,....
mybe in 1-2weeks time will be settle...

Yup Im going offline with WE for 2 weeks 1st. Then start again...but if friends want to play wit u online its hard to resist u know .

Baru sedar effy punya speedtest laju nak mampus. Ko pakai apa ni...bukan streamyx ka. Leh bgtau details skit tak effy. Patutla dok kena rape ja dlm u2 .

Speedtest ni kat ofis aku la..TIME dotcom..haha
kalau kat umah..dl dapat 1.5mb n up dapat 0.42mb je..streamyx is the best..

played online last nite. 2 games.. somehow it's very frustrating for me since the speed is a lot slower and the lag doesn't help at all. you lose out cheaply and pay the price.zzzzzzz

when it lags, ur players will start doing silly things... like ball watching etc.. frustrating...but im sure it will improve..

kalau game yang lag, tukar player jadi gile... ada delay la kejap player ni kejap player tu hahaha... tukar tukar sendiri.

lag ke tak aku tak kesah. tapi aku rasa yang baru ni laju sket dari yang dulu. even kalau merah pun bleh main lagi. ko boleh kontrol lagi cuma kekadang tu takleh/lambat tukar player atau respon kontroller lembab cam siput. apa yang penting enjoy.. kalah menang biasa la bola kan.

lagi satu kalau lag, ko susah nak one touch passing. mesti player ko tahan bola dulu. kalau sangkut sangkut biasa tak lama la... mesti putus nye. jadi online mode server tu akan hanya pilih yang playable je baru bleh main sampai abis. jarang sangkut2 cuma ada delay pada respon je.

ooo.. tapi ada satu aku tak suka. nak pilih team ko tak nampak orang sana pilih team apa. kene select dulu baru bleh tau. select punya select masa utk pilih team jalan tau tau kang tak sempat pilih team yang ko nak. patut dia buat benda ni boleh tengok senang sket. takde buang masa nak pilih team.

user list pun dah tak sekali dgn room kene cek kat tempat lain. room pun nak tau bleh masuk ke tak kene tgk bilangan no player yang dah masuk room tu. agak slow sket la nak cek tak macam dulu nye.

Interesting feedback from some of your guys regarding the online play. Some say very smooth lag free, some say got lag.

bro give a week or two for Konami to cope and fix those online issues. If after that it's still the same, then we can made conclusion that the online play is suck. It's fair that during initial server up it might have some kind of issue due to overload ppl.

But as far as i can see from majority feedback, that is one thing can be sure, the online play has been improve a lot. At least sometime you still playable with red signal opponent.

P/S: for your guys information, whenever you host a room or join a room, your own signal will be always be in yellow/green status. You can only predict/expect the match is playable or not based on your opponent status (red, yellow, orange, or green). So it is normal when you see your won signal is yellow/green all the time. But your opponent signal is the one that will decide the match is playable or not.

Added on November 6, 2009, 10:43 ambro you are using wireless connection? i think you better try direct/wired connection that will give a more stable connection. Coz in football game 1-2 sec delay to transfer the data will ruin the gameplay, but in other game like FPS/ Racing/ Action it is not noticeable.

Another thing is..from the bolded part of your statement it is obvious that your connection is not very stable coz you said it will dc during the middle of the game..even you keep dc before match start? hmm...it shouldn't be you keep dc right?

or perhaps konami is more stringent in online play, must be always consistent speed only can get a smooth lag free match? So far from my past experience even with old WE2009 that the online play is not so good, i never experience dc when play with any local, only during play with foreigner...Just try and try and see whether how to configure to get the best online play, ok?

at least 1-2 months sure some smart guys will do a good OF consists of proper kits. Just patient a bit and play the game now.

I also try changing to wired connection but still the same. Maybe last nite my connection was not so stable la. Yaa...juz when the match about to start suddenly a default message appear saying "the transmition is geting worse n hv to be disconnected" something like that la . I'll try again. But if it still the same, i will juz go offline for around 2 weeks n giv it a go again. Probably KONAMI still need to fix something on the server that just release yesterday so taht the online problem will be solve.

BTW sean can u give me the link for KONAMI speedtest. Juz want to test whether my speedtest compatible with WE2010 or not.

yesterday played with spongey.....great game...but still a bit disappointed bcoz i think fifa10 online experience much better.....altho the gameplay is really superb....u cant just dribble all the way anymore. team build up is the key to win this time
