Some question regarding the build in compass in N97, did Garmin XT utilise it's digital compass at all? or did the Ovi Map v3.0 using both it's GPS and compass sensor at the same time to get a more accurate direction heading?
If non of the software really utilise both sensor at the same time then what the usefullness of the digital compass on the device?

Owner of the N97, help needed to verify on this question, because the N97 digital build in compass will be a good buy if it's been utilise during the GPS software routing because from experience the heading direction that only rely on the GPS signal sometime really make some annoy map rotation if suddenly it lost a clear satelite signal . This cause me to only set the map alway heading north to prevent the map wrong rotation which can make me really confuse when driving and depend on the GPS route.
