bought it in subang parade, oh i thought they will update it to da latest version when we we purchase da phone
u mean we must be outside to get the best satellite signal?b4 this i used it at home and office, only takes few minutes to lock the location but now it takes forever to lock da position even when im in da car
well i already have installed the garmin XT but when i open it, it says 'no gps signal' dunno whether i have install it correctly or not

how much do u manage to sell? 2nd hand value for n97 is very low wei, if trade in at the shop only RM1200, that is half from the real price RM2480, half in just 6 months of release!

very low is how low? there must be a figure, right?
*
If u trade in at the shop, u will only get 1.2k!

I wanted to trade in my N97 plus topup to get a new phone but when the seller offer me that amount for trade in, I completely changed my mind!

I rather keep my N97 than have to bear the loss!

So I suggest u think hard b4 u decide to sell unless u r willing to accept the huge losses!

check your settings:

A-gps = Assist GPS = pay money to assist I-GPS

I-gps = Integrated GPS = Build in GPS no need pay any money
*
if disable A-gps is like waiting forever for satellite lock lol!

well i know A-gps cost money to lock ur position faster and most of the time it only cost 10 cents

But today by using the ovi maps ver 3.3 for da 1st time, it costed 70 cents for satellite lock!

Also tested the free voice-guided navigation, it just displayed 'waiting for GPS' on my screen but it didnt move at all, i thought it doesnt require internet connection

Should I wait for v21 which comes with ovi maps ver 3.3 for N97 classic?

I wonder how did you do it? Cause I tried using from N97 Mini and 5800XM, it doesn't support any.
*
well i managed to installed it without any prob, the only prob is dat it has taken up almost 15mb from C: thats quite alot, does the one for N97 classic required less memory? if yes then im gonna reinstall it

may i know wat is da minumum memory should be left in drive C: ? I feel like my phone has become more lagging than usual, after all its not N97 if its not lagging lol

im hoping that the next firmware release will clear all da bugs and finally making the phone processing much quicker like Iphone

when i checked on installed application folder, I found that both nokia maps(9MB) and Ovi Maps(7MB) are installed. Can I delete the nokia maps ? does it affect Ovi Maps? at least i can save up some space on my phone memory, only got 25MB left n beginning to feel frequent lagging on my phone sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif
