still havent get back my phone cos today holiday, kinda free now to learn to cook rom.
i trying to make my 1st own rom with hack only, will only try other thing if my 1st rom successful. but for anyone here who know how to cook, mind to teach me something? CODE rompatcher preinstalled and autorun enabled Guys to be able to have rompatcher fully working while in z:\ 1) you need to unpack rompatcher.sis using siscontents 2) place ALL files in the right directories in z:\ 3) place the attached file in Z:\Resource\ 4) repack rofs2 and flash 5) set patches to auto 6) reboot i tried to follow above method to copy rompatcher to my rofs2, but when i extracted the rompatcher.sis i got below few files and folder, i done copying the file inside 'private', 'resource', and 'sys' folders. ![]() but for the file inside 'c_private' folder put only after reflash to c: drive? and the 'ROMPatcher_Plus.pkg' and 'RP_Patches.zip' where should i copy to? AND if i copied the 'patcher.ldd' and 'patcherShadow.ldd' to sys/bin, did i still need the rompatcher? hope anyone can help me out this. regards. |

QUOTE(Xploit Machine @ Feb 26 2010, 08:58 PM) I suppose ure using N97, but my patches are for N5800XM, are they compatible? yeah i own a n97, i think i can give a try, but i scare if i add too much thing or deleted too much thing will cause my phone bricked, saw a thread at dailymobile.se that say if the rofs2's size reached or below certain size will cause the phone brick or unlimited restarts. but if bricked still can flash back to original firmware by jaf right? regards. |

QUOTE(G K Lai @ Mar 4 2010, 01:25 AM) Actually I want to try, but don't know how to... i am thinking to include this hack in my next firmware, cos i use taskman as my default task manager and i always kill these apps to free up my ram, even they din start during startup, the logs, clock etc still will start when u choose it.For example, how do I disable camera sound; how to make Rompatcher default to drive Z: and many more... There are some ready made CFW for download, but they stripped away too many things and I'm afraid I will miss what I want... Like, they disabled Clock from starting up during boot, so will our phone still have clock display? Disabled Logs, then will it still keep track of our call history...? I have many doubt about all these... QUOTE(avengers88 @ Mar 4 2010, 07:31 PM) just flash back to original firmware when need to claim warranty lor |
