no update for me yet either =x, I will just wait, the v12 isnt that bad anyway, just hangs occasionally, and even iphone hangs, so doesnt make any diff.

Finally updated mine at NCC, 1utama, for free, just needed about 2 hours for them to do it.
good update, at least the touch screen seems more responsive now, only issue now is that, the 3g seems to get disconnected very often, its probably the service provider, using celcom.. been very slow lately.. thinking of a switch to digi lol |

I believe is the warranty coverage they provide, If you buy from official retailer, you're more or less covered for the worst case within your warranty period.
I had stories from others, buying AP phones, most phones are actually like the original, no differences, but when comes to warranty, some retailers offers 18 months warranty for tranceiver and all, but base on true story, I had a friend whose phone went dead within 12 months, the phone dealer refuse to repair it if my friend did not want to pay the repair cost, which was a huge RM 400-500 for some lcd problem they claimed. The phone dealer claimed that there were no parts for the repair, and for my friends to actually get it repaired, they had to pay them to get the parts. so, I wondered what in the term "warranty" did they not understand. we refused to pay, took back the phone, threw into dustbin, and bought a new one, this time Ori phone. |
