my n97 hang so many times and i can't remember already. Sent to NCC to check for 4 times already about hang issue after i update to V.20. They decided to change my motherboard when they could not find the solution. After 2 weeks at NCC i got it back. Start Restore all my backup. Then when it restart after restore my data my n97 hangs at the logo. Had to use the hard reset.

Anyone got find it so frequently hangs and had to use hard reset on the n97?. Yesterday night, I change to another sim card and when i on my n97 it hangs at the logo.

Actually what is the problem? Is it the mass storage or phone memory clash?

Can you guide me how to reformat my mass memory. If i had reformated my mass storage can i still use restore to restore all my data or i have to reinstall all over again one by one. I did it last week re-install my application one by one when my phone change a new motherboard. i try not to install any 3party application to avoid the hangs problem and only download the application from ovi.com. But seem it still hangs.


how about restoring message after reformat. only contacts, notes and calendar can restore?

i think u better buy ori...just a bit of extra. u can sent to ncc if got problem. my ori already sent to ncc more than 4 times in less than 2 months. but still problem even my motherboard changed too.

since your n97 have no problem can you share with us what application you installed in ur n97. if you have less application maybe it wont easily clashed or hang you phone. i think its one of the application that gone wrong and when installed it will crash our os.

i am not a heavy user too...i just install garmin, opera mini, fring, kl traffic, and some free games. and its still hangs on the logo. i did not even install 3 party applications.
