agree. but a lot ppl looking for brand, n where it's made from!!! label it's to show those trusted in 'brand'... i just got the stupid tanglewood from china, label inside is u.k. even headstock also printed in u.k. 
by the way, not recommended admira, esteve not bad. u can get the model 1.4st, solid top, mahogany back n side, also thousand ++++
if willing to invest, can get the esteve model 8, full solid indian rosewood.

In the exam, you CAN make mistake but never break down, just keep going. I got student feel terrible after exam but end up getting a merit.
exam is not about making perfect playing, is more about making your music interesting.
To make you feel better, even Ms. Yang Xuefei make mistake in her performance, but nobody care, because she make great music.


Unlike school exams where students "kinda" punished for bad grades (move you to lower classes etc.), nobody said you can not play guitar anymore if you did badly in exam, there is always next year.
And Bad grade in music exam, doesn't mean you are bad player, maybe you are just nervous on that that particular day, or you broke your nail, or you having cold etc.

For tomorrow, the result of your exam is irrelevant, your experience of sitting for an exam is much much more important than that. think, feel and remember each moment, that will help you in the future.

if you get stuck when plucking, then there is a problem with the SHAPE of your nails not your length. Consult your teacher.

Agreed. Last time I sit for a guitar exam, I didnt feel satisfied with the result  . My teacher told me there's no need to feel sad, if I played to another examiner, I would get different marks, that is why music is an art.  Exam result doesn't mean everything.

We feel nervous because we're too concern how people look at us when we perform. Your focus is on your playing, not the examiner.

Last few days you were worried about your aural, today you did well, congraz! 
No worries, it's normal to have some mistakes in a song, as long as your did well in other parts of the exam, it should be alright. Confirm can pass.

I think this is more towards song bah....do you know any books that focus kaw kaw exceptionally in techniques and skills? like those etudes and studies in violin...but guitar version ones....

btw.....classical guitar exam got scale and sight reading anot??? anyone can share the syllabus?

does anyone know about the trinity guitar exam,
whether the techical suite need to memorise or not?
technical suite is the optional of scale arpeggio,
as we know scale arpeggio must be memorised.

Oh.. can you play like. alot of songs now? Or there are still some parts that you can't really play yet? the only thing I'm scared of is that I can't reach notes or change chords fast enough. I tried that day and my friend was like "omg you're like friggin slow". anyway congrats on your first exam!!
