The treble strings are nylon, while the bass strings are steel. The fretboard width is around the same as acoustic guitar fretboard width. Guitalele is a quarter size guitar, therefore the scale is smaller, fret to fret distance is closer. Was impressed by the sound, considered loud and bright for such a small guitar. On the right side of the pic is my guitalele, left side is my standard size classical guitar. Oh, but can I tune it back to the standard EADGBE tuning? Btw, my classical guitar strings snapped, was playing too aggressive with it (percussion and aggressive strumming  I know, stupid me), any good strings recommendation? |
