Eh.. SONY STYLE TEBRAU got stock for A550?
Lasttime I go there, everything I want must order.. OK la.. I guess they don;t keep many stock there maybe due to low demand at JB market.
Btw, They give You SonyStyle card rite? you should be able to get 10% discount off the accessories if u purchase at SONY SYLE. (but actually street price still cheaper than SONY SRP-10%) haha

#1 OK. This one looks normal.. Shoot with 1680Z. Color wise consider vibrant?
user posted image

#2 Anything wrong with the color a bit dull? Center metering, with 0EV. Shoot with 1680Z.
user posted image

---
#3 The sky should be brighter as this is 0EV compensation? Matrix Metering. Shoot with 50F1.4.

All photo shoott in the same day.
was wondering why my A700 + 1680 combination sometime give a slightly darker pic compare to A200+1870

-about the same size and weight
-new sensor but still 14MP
-increased ISO speeds, but you should try the A350 at ISO3200 to enjoy the nice grain you remember from film in the 80's
-higher fps
-slightly bigger viewfinder
-better 3"-screen (I still don't understand why they talk of VGA 640 x 320, but 921.000 pixels)
-screen tilts down 90° instead of 45°
-SD instead of CF (improvement?)
-HDR
-2nd live-view option added
-useless new user interface (glad it can be turned off)
-battery remains the same
-buttons are rearanged to provide space for the bigger screen
-Sony added an ugly two-color black grey housing

The SD card for A550 is one of the issue that I choose A700 over A550. I have 20GB worth of CF card. what they do when I switch to A550 that using SD card?

Yesterday when I was cleaning the A700 viewfinder eyepiece... I heard a "tek"sound.. I dono whether I had pressed the Viewfinder into the body.. Or I had pressed other parts that is loose..
There is no change it the view finder. It's a bright as before.

i also was shocked..my partner..he is using a d300....just got a sb600..i asked him whats the gn on the unit..he said 98.. i was like WAT THE!?!?!?!?
*
Itu GN 98 kaki.. SONY F58 GN is 58 meter.
Many ppl confuse with the unit. Lasttime the Alpha Flash photography workshop instructor also confused about this. He say Sony GN is in feet..
I don't know whether they have corrected it in their slide or not.

QUOTE(albnok @ Nov 11 2009, 11:42 PM)
braindead_fr3ak: A reason why I like the F42 and F58 is, they make very good battery testers.

Set flash power to 1/1. Press TEST button. Exactly 4 seconds later, the TEST button should light up again. If your batteries are not so fresh, they can take 5 to 6 seconds... and if it takes 7 seconds I know it's time to charge them.
*
I use imedion 2100mA on F58. it's able to light up after 3s if freshly after charge. Normal time, it's 4s.
