one month save rm100 from your allowance is not that hard..., if u are student, u can always grab a work from the student council, they have part time arrangement for oversea student and some locals if you are interested. prob can get urself a salary of rm200 for parttime... that only like 2-3 month saving or 1 semester. why so hard? i am also once a student
Added on November 1, 2009, 2:07 amnow i am working, i spend even worst >.< funny thing is, from the college years, i learn how to save, and i am a good saver, thus why, some ppl ask me, how i manage to spend over 9k of equipment only in 10 months... 1 body, 5 lens, 1 flash, drybox and accesories. Added on November 1, 2009, 2:09 amMikeshashimi : miri? or KL now? btw, u got ur answer pretty well, grab a better flash. btw, what major u in? This post has been edited by ieR: Nov 1 2009, 02:09 AM |

QUOTE(achew @ Nov 2 2009, 01:40 AM) i've slightly lengthen it a lil...lol.. yea they beat us to pulp badly in lomo effect!.i do have friend who is crazy about those manual lenses..keep buying all those lenses used for shooting video/movie(thats what he said)..and even lens from aircraft....and send it to china to modify it to m42 and use on his 5Dm2...he claims that those old/manual lenses beat our modern lenses easily...but well..im not that convinced yet.. Added on November 2, 2009, 2:00 amit's just how they sees it, no point argueing, u like the color effect, go for it... some say because its damn cheap and its like DIY version of buying the whole new things. Mikeshashimi: try driving an 1980 toyota land cruiser and driving a new auto land cruiser... which is nicer? of coz the 1980 cost only <5% of the new landcruiser pricetag
*edit, better example, change the word "toyota land cruiser" to SLR (additional 'D' for the new landcrusier) the lens is meant for film manual slr... imagine the hectic people used to comment that how hard/easy is it to shoot in the old days. This post has been edited by ieR: Nov 2 2009, 02:05 AM |

my kit lens better then STF, not circular, but like mulberry shaped(mini balloon-ed shape),... (crooked apperture blade, i F8ctk the head technician last time i send back for repair, for he told me it is NORMAL... which part of crooked is normal? @.@)
Added on November 2, 2009, 2:11 ami think the main reason ur 5dmII friend likes old lens because New FF/L lens could easily had let him brought 10 set of the old film lens (which is FF in today's term), same reason why beercan is getting more expensive day by day since A900 came out... well, u can always switch the view during display/review on the camera to see the histogram and blowout and pitch black in the photo (they will blink) i forgot what do we call that. but it will tell u if that area is coded as '0 0 0' or '255 255 255' which either pure white or pure black which is, not recoverable.

QUOTE(Sp00kY @ Nov 2 2009, 02:19 PM) ![]() lol, remember this? if u do then probably u are as old as me and yeah i am feeling old hahaha.. younger kids probably wouldnt have seen this before. Added on November 2, 2009, 5:34 pmmcline_007: there are few ways to prevent fungus, some ideas but not excately proven like a drybox. i. sunbath, sometimes i just take my lens out to sunbath for 2-5 min ii. Flash the lens, yes, use ur flash, fire at it. the flash heat is enough to kill some fungus from growing. iii. go for a day time outing once a while, shooting under the sun or the sky, would help avoid fungus grow* if ur area rains whole week everyday... get a drybox... when it rains more then 3 days, the moist in the air enough to encourage fungus growth. i have no idea how dangerous fungus is, because i have everything in my dry box. now need to upgrade drybox if i need to get a G lens, tak boleh masuk....
