Got it cheaper from Sony Malaysia with warranty. It's a new set, but they used it briefly for their internal demo. biggrin.gif
*
wah nice i thought sony malaysia would not have bring it as this kind of tech will not sales well in malaysia as it cost as much as led tv.

I have not seen your setup before but you are now my official benchmark for best setup ever smile.gif

How heavy is the headset? If you turn your head, will your character turn (like Virtual Reality) or is it just a screen in your eyes?
*
a bit heavy but depend on each person head size and if turn whole screen will turn unless u modify it and play games on pc which will be like virtual reality.

yep but u know sony malaysia wont bring it as most ppl will not buy it as it quite pricey and can buy led tv with the price that this headset cost but to me is worth it as it totally is different experience when playing games and ninja if u ps3 have stardust hd try it in 3d is totally bring out the best 3d effect follow by wipeout hd in 3d as well as for me i can play it non stop for 3 hour after that need to relax my eyes as the headset did take quite lot of focus to it.

Already tried Super Stardust and Wipeout. biggrin.gif Awesome 3D on both games, great depth and zero crosstalk.

Will try Doom 3: BFG 3D next as you suggested before. biggrin.gif

How much is Sony Malaysia selling the HMZ-T1?

I think Stringfellow (a very well known LYN forumer) used to have this but he imported it from US, quite pricey I think.

Also, for a specky guy like me, if playing with no spec, will I be able to see the images clearly?
*
i dont thinks sony malaysia is selling as ninja stated the set he getting from sony malaysia is demo set and purchased from US is about RM3K maybe include tax last few month i purchased is about RM3.3K include tax.

Pull that center channel to be flushed with the edge of the console table to reduce diffraction.

nice setup, do you mind me asking how far is the distance are you from the tv? planning to get one but don't really quite know the suitable size
*
2 meter distance which i think is good enough to view 85inch tv screen size.

85" display, optimal seating distance is actually 2.6m to achieve 40 degree FOV for THX immersion level.

So if you can push back your seat by another 0.6m, you'll have a better time in the long run.

ok will do thanks thumbsup.gif
