I just found out where all the PDRGTs went to.
Was at TS just now, walked pass the tennis shop in 3rd floor.... saw 8 PDRGTs hanging there. Normal PDGT and PDGT+ also there. |

QUOTE(Yan @ Oct 28 2009, 12:24 AM) i may b wrong but i think that shop is a share-ownership with no1. racquet shop .. Racquets wise they aren't selling anything. But I don't know why, all the guai-lo like to buy shoes from that shop. So they're surviving on shoes, not racquets. |

QUOTE(praetorian @ Nov 3 2009, 07:46 PM) I figured Roger had the final say in everything.... I read that from his website though for the life of me, I cannot find it now and quote it. It read he had the final say in everything Wilson and Nike. This I cannot believe O_o That's right.Wei boss, just asking leh.....this one you already 'hold in your hands already or not', one never knows , rite Actually after Wimbledon, Rio Ferdinand did an interview with him. One of the questions was regarding how Nike would force him (Rio) to wear boots that he doesn't like. But Fed said that Nike respects his decision and won't force him to wear colors that he doesn't want to. So yea... there you go. |

Wonder what sort of even hellish training and drills prior to 2002.... then 2004, is when the ownage started. |

QUOTE(Yan @ Nov 6 2009, 08:16 PM) nah .. i dun think u'll break the 18gauge blackcode... just try it for experience... really comfortable and good feel .. so far i'm not a chronic string breaker too .. am using the msv hex at 18gauge also ... so dun worry abt it .. Call it coincidence if you will, but:The 2 times I played with you, the 2 times your strings broke........ This post has been edited by SSJBen: Nov 6 2009, 10:40 PM |

First time I played with you, you snapped your bc on your PDRGT.
I think you were playing with ckseong. Second time was that day when were in the club. You snapped zdepth's strings. Followed by viper snapping his. |

Just got my Pro Kennex Black Ace 98 yesterday, courtesy of altezza and his friend.
Didn't get to swing too much with it though since it was raining and I don't wanna wet it. But my god.... this stick is like possesed, I nearly lost my love for the PDRGT just playing a few minutes with the PKBA 98. It was strung with Prince Lightning at 58lbs though, and surprisingly the string is quite nice to play with. Awesome stick! |

Can't help it. I'm just amazed by the control and power of the racquet. Surely it is not as powerful as the PDRGT but it is pretty close. But the control, is unlike anything I've touched before. Now don't know to cut the strings out and put a set of signum tornado on it or not, because the Prince Lightning feels really good on it. |

QUOTE(altezza8448 @ Nov 11 2009, 01:30 PM) Bro, glad you like your new stick. Savor the lighting while you can as it won't last long. You can also string the Tornado later. Blackace almost as powerful as PDRGT??? Yea, old school control but has the power of today's frames. It does atleast feel almost as powerful, as I was just doing a comparison of flat shots. Not enough time to really try, the rain came and the court became too damn wet. Don't wanna dirty the BlackAce.... I'll experiment more this Friday or Saturday. |

It's sorta new.
The design is quite old-school, so theres not really much of a "technology" vibe that you'll see on this racquet. No nonsense like Cortex, K <insert name>, nCode, 4D, etc. etc. Just a straight to the point racquet with exceptional control with power there when you are ask for it. |

QUOTE(praetorian @ Nov 14 2009, 06:52 AM) *yawn* I just woke up, went down to the courts to send some rackets, came home and lo and behold a email telling more Topspin products are available sheesh.....I think this will be a never ending story..... Is it me, or is Topspin starting to really take some other's strings and then re-market it as their own (like they did with the Unique Big Hitter)?Topspins Cyber Black Topspins Cyber Red Topspin Cyber Whirl Octogonal Orange Here is the shops link for thoe who may wish to buy :http://shop.topspintennis.de/tennisstrings-sets.67.0.html The Black looks awfully similar to the signum-tornado.... maybe it's just me. |

QUOTE(praetorian @ Nov 14 2009, 02:29 PM) I didn't want to say anything about it but I agree, there is another string I suspect that looks like it ripped off Signum's Tornado and that is MSV Hepta Twist, pics are below: MSV Hepta Twist didn't rip off Signum's Tornado. They may be the same concept but atleast MSV's gauge are thicker among all their ranges. The topspin? Just go look at their website, completely the same gauge among all ranges and material build as the Signum Tornado. |

Crap today left my tennis bag and racquets in the car.
Was burning hot today (considering it rained the whole day yesterday). Opened up and went to court, my strings on the Pro Kennex Black Ace warped. The mains were twisted! Damn.... really big mistake by me. |

QUOTE(ckseong80 @ Nov 17 2009, 08:07 PM) Yea I can.The ball kept flying to the net even when I slice 3 feet away from it, and if I apply too much spin the strings just fray away and I lose control entirely. Theres this sound when I hit, the strings is like "crackling". I think the strings can cut already. |
