I think shipping speakers out from US is going to be problematic. At least when using vPost or other similar services. Perhaps through FedEx or UPS

I'll be using US Postal, not sure how reliable it is, apparently international priority mail shud reach within 6-10 days...which is ok if you ask me, but then again how reliable is this compared to FedEx,UPS n such?

And please be prepared to pay 15% import duty + 10% sales tax.

Custom can always re-value your item if they deem fit to do so. If they feel that your freight charges is too low (since tax is based on value of item + shipping fee), they can value it at higher price value.

Good luck.

Btw, you are not the only who overlook this. Not many people are aware that the duty & tax for HT are hefty in Malaysia. All in all, it is whopping 26.5%!

I experience a parcel lose by US priority mail service. The tracking code provide only can track with in US. When out of US it is consider normal item, there will be no tracking. Anything happen to it will be not claimable because US post confirm it is ship out of US but Malaysia Pos never receive it. But it doesn't happen very frequent, I only experience once but it is an important item that I have lose.
If it is really important better use more reliable postage service.
