can i use this card for international transaction or through PayPal.. in other words is it authorized by PayPal or not

by the way a funny story happened to me the last 2 weeks just wanna share it
i asked before about cimb e-mastercard
after that i went to a branch of cimb (somewhere)
i asked the girl in the reception about the card
one of my questions i asked her if it is possible to link this card to paypal

guess what guys

she asked me back WHAT IS PAYPAL?????

it took me 15 minutes to explain to her and i think she didnt understand because after all of that she answered me that no this card you can charge it by atm and you can use it to buy things and it is not for internet

i personally consider that funny
how about you guys????

i mean how come a bank employee and doesnt know what is paypal

will i have my name printed on maybank visa debit card

that is an important matter for me to have my name printed

and if not what you guys suggest

any substitute with the same option as that card

will my name will be printed on any of them

well, i need it printed due to some security reasons that some companies they want to see the same name everywhere lol (anti money laundering or somethin like that)

its something to do with registering funding and withdrawing funds from FOREX companies

they are strict

you need to send them a lot of identity verification documents

sometimes even one mistake can delay your withdrawals or even block them

its not about shopping
its always easy if you want to pay but when you want to get paid its the most complicated process ever.

anyway as i read from other collections of opinions that PB is a bit late in processing new applications for Visa Electron Debit Card

first question: why should this kind of application take that long time
as i know is not like CC that the bank need to check the history of the customer among some other checks as well

second question which is more important for me personally:
i have sent my application for visa electron last Monday 2nd of August . when i should check back to make sure of receiving the application and the improvement of the process

one more thing: i am a foreign student which i have been residing in Malaysia for almost 5 years and recently become a citizen spouse but still under student pass. is my profile able to be approved or not

as i found out some banks add a feature of security online for master and visa debit cards which is (verified by visa/master)
this is as i sow originally for cc and they are implementing it for dc now

i dont know if that would add security to the dc as my experience almost zero in this but it felt like dc become more secure online

they say that withdrawal using visa electron from pb atm is waived

as i know waived means "kind of" free but with conditions

so what are the conditions to withdraw free using visa electron

so it is free....?

my confusion not really settled yet

so what they mean exactly by "waived"

so why in day2day they said withdrawal from PB ATM is free and in PBVE they said withdrawal from PB ATM is waived. what is the different.

just for curiosity
i was reading the terms and conditions of CIMB prepaid e.mastercard and my eyes dropped on one of the terms that you can not withdraw funds out of the card... is that true or i misunderstood again... is it possible that this card is for spending purposes only... dahhhhh...
however as i read as well that the other way to withdraw funds out of the card is the cash access facility which is limited to a maximum of RM500 and it can be done only when you purchase anything from GIANT (for the time being as they stated).... dahhhh dahhhhh

am so curios please anybody clarify for me although i have been annoying to you guys by asking to many things hahahaha but that what this topic about right?

is there a real difference for the acceptance of visa electron and the new visa Esso-Mobil

what will happen to the balance inside PB VISA Electron after the card has been Cancelled?

what if i recieved another debit card in the same day i cancelled PBVE (thats what actually happened) will the balance be automatically transfered to the new card? sorry for too many questions hehehehe
