i wonder if debit card can be used for recurring monthly payment like insurance premium payment.

i wonder also if recurring payment is categorised as auto-debit since it does not do an authorised charge for instalment plans like credit card...

For debit card, no. It won't be categorized as auto-debit but auto direct debit.

i got my cimb e.mastercard already..
can i topup via cimbclicks? how?
can i transfer money from my saving account into this e.mastercard via cimbclick?
*
Yes, you can. You must have a CIMB bank account and access to CIMB Clicks. Then u can tag your card to your account before being able to add credit to it...

CIMB e.Mastercard sux...

I added this card to PayPal and CIMB charged me RM 10.08 instead of RM 10.00 (refunded back to PayPal account upon verification)

I bought 2 things off eBay with this card recently.
1st transaction, eBay shows RM 7.60, CIMB charged RM 7.66
2nd transaction, eBay shows RM 11.12, CIMB charged RM 11.21
What a good way to earn extra few cents...

I have no such issues with PB Visa Electron and other CC of mine... Always reflect the correct amount charged on eBay or other foreign transactions...

Although it is only a few cents, but it is just something that is not right...
Customer see the actual amount transacted, but charged on a different amount (upwards).
