So i hope you will convince them to redesign the card. I think Public Bank did a very good job designing the already phased out Manchester United MasterCard. Public Bank's corporate color is red, the card's color can be predominantly red too.

Cash back is always preferable. And i hope Public Bank will soon review its cash back rewards program. I personally think Public Bank is just too stingy by giving us only 0.3% cash back on all transactions except petrol and groceries. Why can't you guys make it 0.5% just like the VISA Electron ? And instead of 0.8% cash back for petrol and groceries, why not give us 1% cash back ? I know that Public Bank did give 1% cash back for petrol and groceries last year but why not make it permanent ?
It is under MEPS network.
Yes. That is true. However, if you are not exactly a high spender, a debit card will serve you just fine especially with the stupid credit card tax in place.

Choose the credit card/debit card option. Then they will connect you to that department and someone will pickup your call. Tell him/her that you tried to register your card for Verified by VISA through their website but you entered the wrong details and now your card is blocked. Tell him/her you want them to unblock the card. He/she will ask you a few questions and that's it. Your card will be good to use again.

May i know exactly which dictionary did you get that idea from ? Your definition of 'waive' is so wrong. Anyway, there is no condition at all. A few years ago, if one wishes to withdraw some money from PBVE, you'll have to select cash advance.

To make things less complicated, cash withdrawal for all range of PBB debit cards are all free provided you do it at PBB ATM. "Waived" is just the word they chose to use instead of free. "Waived" doesn't necessarily mean it comes with a string attached. Even the word free can come with string attached too.

By the way guys, just an update. I used my PBB D2D VISA debit three times in Jaya Jusco Mid-Valley yesterday and all 3 transactions were all accepted.

Yes. But they will deduct RM300 from your account first, regardless how many petrol you fill in your tank (definitely the value must be less than RM300). The balance of you money will go to your account back within 3 days.

yes. but recommand go inside to counter to pay , so that can prevent 'on-hold', if swipe at terminal, it will hold some amount.

not deduct, but on-hold.
the period of on-hold will release/back depends on bank, 3 - 7 days.

It is RM200, not RM300.

What debit card can i use at amazon.co.uk? Maybank or Public Bank?

what is the initial deposit for Maybank?

i already know about Public Bank.

one more thing is that amazon.co.uk asked for name on the card, if i use Maybank's, so how? it doesn't have name on it.

Both are accepted at both www.amazon.com & www.amazon.co.uk.

No. Regardless of the actual amount pumped, it will always hold RM200 from your account. And yes. This applies to all debit card regardless which bank issued it.
