Thank you. All the above pics have flaws like ugly smart tag clip, overexposed undercarriage, water puddles etc. etc. doh.gif One day, I will revisit these places and try to get better pics. tongue.gif The plane is a little tricky to compose because there are object behind the plane like trucks and buildings and when you move further out, they get into the pic. vmad.gif Here's another wider shot of the plane. I should have cropped the small black building on the far right. shakehead.gif

So many choices. Each area of this fine earth holds it's own uniqueness. What may appeal to me may not be someone else's cup of tea. Having said all of that, some of my favorites are as follows:

For photography India was wonderful. It is steeped with history with tons of old buildings and national monuments. Access is pretty wide open for still photography. I never did find out why they won't allow videography in a number of locations. The marketplaces are great venues for a wide arrange of colors, the women sellings their silks to the street vendors selling very weird colored food. I would not recommend going into some of these markets by yourself packing a whole whack of equipment.

Australia is great and gives you just about everything you could want. We drove from Sydney to Cairns and there is a large variety of landscapes and wildlife. Lots of waterfalls if that is your bag.

New Zealand. Very lush and colorful. Lots of sheep too. The south island is more rugged than the north. Beautiful country.

Hawaii is well Hawaii. Kind of hard to go wrong here.

These are my favorites.

About 45 mins from KL. It's sad that I live in Kajang (nearby) and only recently found out about this place! hah..Will definitely plan a trip there some day.

Many bloggers have written about it, can check it out below..

I think what'll be great for this thread is if we have a system like:

Location name:
Located at: Road, City, State
Type of shoot: Portrait, Flora, Wildlife
Paid / Free:
Photo example:

This can be a really great list for all photographers to reference different types of moods for a shot. Some photographers may want to be more selfish in keeping their locations to themselves but for the ones who'd like to share, this could be a good reference point.

You can try this, fresh out of the oven :
http://www.manmeng.net/blog/2009/11/14/tra...g-maxwell-hill/

But if you drive along the taiping-->ipoh --> kampar road (not the highway), you’ll pass by a row of shops that is really run down and burnt.
