If really gov implemented GST, I forsee more people rant about it. When GST is scheduled to be implemented, you will have all range of goods/foods price increase across.
It is worst that Rm50 service charge on credit card.
I don't see the Rm50 is a really big issue to rant about, yes, it is not pleasant to pay Rm50 for the credit card, but as compared to GST, it is trivia only.
I don't see why a RM50 service charge can be an issue to be classified as a 'burden' for people.
After all, a large portion of credit card is not active one.
to be exact, it's rm50 per card per year...It is worst that Rm50 service charge on credit card.

assume a gentleman...with a monthly salary of rm3500...owning 3 cards for different purposes/benefits.
eg.
card 1) use to pay petrol/groceries to get points/rebates/discounts
card 2) use for autopay of his bills/insurance
card 3) emergency purpose
so...it is a burden for him to pay rm150 a year for a service tax....the amount that he never pay before....
as a rakyat, we also want to know, if let say we pay rm150 a year, where is it going to ?
For me, all taxation collected by government must be clarified to what usage they're going to use the income..
At least subsidized more merchants to use/rent cc terminals for credit card user convenience. Such as can use credit card in mamak stall or local groceries store. Give back convenience to the tax payer at least. Not just collect tax to their own pocket & masked behind "to promote prudent spending"....
