Hi,

I never courier out anything as fragile as glass items.
But I have someone that insist for the item.

Can I check with any of you,
1. is it possible to send something made of glass using courier service?
2. Does all courier service provide special attention to this type of thing?
3. Any recomendation on what Courier Service that is suitable to handle / send this type of item?

Thank you for your advise.

First, inform the buyer that you won't b taking responsibility should the glass break or smth while attempting delivery. Guess the best way to send it item would be wrapping them with bubble wrap or cut newspaper into pieces to act as shock absorbent. Lastly, ask for Fragile sticker to stick on them so that they will handle it with btr care.

If you are sending something like a glass mug, u need stuff newspaper in the mug, and covering the whole mug. Then place it in a box. Do stuff the box with newspaper or bubble wrap leaving no space for the mug to move in the box. Then wrap your box with mahjong or brown paper. Bring the box to poslaju, then ask them for fragile sticker. It is given for free.

Hi girl ,

No worries . First , you need a box that can fits all the things inside that you need to send it out . Then , make sure you put alots of padding in it . Padding could be , shredded old newspaper , some Styrofoam cube , or Styrofoam sheet , or something that is soft and can absord vibration smile.gif

And , make sure you write "FRAGILE" on the box . Make sure you write it clearly on the box , so that the worker in Pos Office can handle that package cautiously .

Kudos !

I have another customer insisted wanted to use normal post (she don't want courier service because she wants the cheapest delivery rate)

I wonder is this proper or not? Should I proceed or not?
I never experience sending fragile items using normal post.

Poslaju is very efficient nowdays, make sure you pack your item properly and bubble wrap it. Another thing to consider if you are using normal post, there is no proof of delivery as the recipient are not required to sign it on arrival.
