Guys, i'm a working adult and only have enough time to make it for guild raids the moment when im off frm work.
Not enough time to do some dailies only have time to get some little tips from enchanting and some little AH manipulation, even then, thats the onlce chance i have when the raid is still LFM... With the cost of going to raid is so high, repairs/flask/buff food n etc. What do you guys think bout buying gold? Obviously its not ethical to support the china farmers by giving them more biz but its hard to raid without the bare necessities.. What do you guys think?

do such guilds still exist?
cause farming consumables repairs etc should be on the raider's part not the guild...

Well, its a big WoW world tongue.gif

Mine provides 50g per week in repairs and flasks (as long as we have stock) because we are pretty stable financially. Even so, most raiders provide their own flasks and 50g in repair money really isn't anything but a small subsidy.

Hey, it beats gold rotting in the guild bank smile.gif

If you want to buy gold but don't wanna contribute to those companies that sell gold, and also to this (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/basics/antigold.html). Get a rich (in game) friend to give you an amount, and treat him meals or something laugh.gif

LoTH provides flasks for all its raiders, and free fish feasts before each pull. That's the only way to be sure everyone is fully buffed up.

This has been our policy since.... Karazhan days.

Its quite cheap for the guild bank that makes money by selling all the raid junk we collect.

Once you manage to unlock the Crusader and Sunreavers dailies (aka you don't have to do the Aspirant dailies anymore) they really go super fast, no more running around to Grizzly Hills or Fjord for the stupid blade, only need to do the Threat from Above and the 3 commanders quest.

Then most of the quests are on the northern island of IC or near the tournament.

Very easy to rake some very quick money and tournament tokens!

best chance earn gold with a short time is AH, try think AH like a RL stock market, buy stuff that you know its very low price(mostly sold by gold seller, they undercut WAY too much), and re-sell it, wait tomorrow at mailbox and collect gold.

other way is buy TBC(58~62lvl) green or vanila green(55~60lvl) DE, enchant the enchantment that can only be use in heirloom item, put it in AH, those sell heaps of profit.

the other way being pug H daily with guild(fast run), /roll green stuff, DE, AH,
submit daily H=bout25g,

whats your other prof anyway?

Money for survival should be easy to get if you:
1) Do 10mans for triumph badges to sell crusader orbs (currently 600g each on Blackrock-US).
- ToC10 takes like 40mins in a pug (1 wipe on faction). Puggable.
- Ony10 takes like 10mins. Puggable.
- VoA10 and 25 takes like 15mins once group is full. Puggable.

2) Do Wintergrasp and Battleground PvP for honor. You can then buy epic gems for 10k honor to sell. Cardinals go for 150g upwards on Blackrock-US.
- Try to find a cross-realm AV vent. Its 10 mins for 1.8k avrg honor.

3) Do Heroics for conq badges which u can use to buy and sell epic gems.

4) Lvl a gathering profession and sell the mats.

5) Do GDKP runs and get a cut of the pot at the end of run. Average gold per person from GDKP runs on Blackrock-US are:
- Nax25: 600g
- Uld25: 800g
- ToC25: 2000g
(TOC25 GDKP is by far the best in terms of returns vs time investment)

These things may break the monotony of daily quests (which u still should do for quick gold)

Thx for all your input guys, realise there is alot of ways to make some fast gold now.

Btw on my realm (Thaurissan) GDKP(gold runs at raids) runs is rather unheard off, on the other hand my friend at taiwan server makes tonnes of gold from each run.

Is gold runs ethical or detrimental for the wow economy? what u guys think?

Yeah do a svr transfer to dreadmaul and join my guild. I provide the flasks and the guild pays for your repairs during H raids. DAILY! lolx. Yes we're not rich but we all contribute enough to cater to the repairs we have daily.

as long as there's no exploitation/macro transfer involved, you should be fine

and yes - no matter how tempted you are, DO NOT buy gold from farmers/gold sellers

you are bound to get smacked

OK, just to share info; on my realm we doing 'Gold-bid' run for all major end-game raids. (e.g; 25-men boss drop loot, people starts bid and the one with highest bid gets the loot/items. start with 500g per items, sometimes goes until 20k..)

I not sure this is violating WoW policy, but it's fair enough for everyone, at the end of raiding, total golds earned from the bid is divided equally among raid members, those who got nothing still got their share.

easy money. 1~2k golds for 3 hours ToC 25-men run, weekly. of course, still can do dailies on so.
