as per topic header,
during under construction, lets say launch got free 1 car park, is it worth it to buy another one extra? to make it 2 car parks. Maybe can rent out the car park in the future as well to offset ..
presume if i want to rent out the house,
Not sure if u get what i mean..

I think it's worth it. Next time when you sell it you can sell it faster and perhaps at premium. Imagine 100 units on sale with only 1 car park, and yours come with 2 car park. You can factor in your car park price and people will still line up to buy yours, especially if it's side-by-side lots because most want to have the convenience.
It also depends on your condo development. Let say ur condo is RM150k, then I don't think your future buyers will want to spend 20k extra for the carpark. THe target market would most likely park outside. It'll be different say for condo of range RM300k and above because the target buyers are more concern about convenience as well as security.

Consider the yield factor. Take my condo for example the additional car park cost RM12k but can be rented out for RM130 to RM150 per mth & there is a waiting list Factor X is when u r competing with other units to rent out. If your tenant have 2 cars (most ppl in KV) then your proposition is more attractive then units with only 1 carpark. Carparks are limited in supply and in most highrise cases there is always shortage of parking

for me i will buy if i have extra bucks... at least one-off to buy the parking space and no maintenance required too... hence u can rent the parking space to any of the residents, no necessary restricted for your tenant only..

if the additional parking bay is cheap, go ahead. if rent i charge rm100-200 per month. it will take 8-16 years. a very pening process to make untung. if sell, i have to force buyer makan the extra bay. buyer always wan extra, but when comes to pricing they always wan low.

Very worth it. My family bought two units for husband and wife car. People coming with offers since parking slots are finite and around our apartment complex is very little parking spots. You can earn by selling them off. Consider them mini-properties.

in Malaysia type of enforcement level, i think most people prefer to park outside or along the road. too many examples to mention.

It's totally worth it if it's for your own stay. Imagine that u getting a second car, where r u going to park? Rent another parking or park outside? Or hv your own parking inside? U enjoy the convenient parking inside with security and probably covered car park. Your car being protected by security and also from the unforgiving sun and rain.
If u park outside, once your car got broken into, say u lost RM500. It's heart pain n $$ gone for nothing. Not forgetting the hassle of going outside your condo to take your car in the rain.

If that condo have very limited car park places, then having 2 car park will be a premium.
If the people living there don't have a car or there is a lot of visitor car park, you can forget about it.
