It seems nvidia might win the ninty contract if their tegra chip is reasonably priced. The tegra chip is based on geforce 9 series and if it is at the level of geforce 9800gt, then we might see a better graphic then ps3 since the ps3 rsx is based on geforce 7 series! If its performance is closer to 9300m then I'll say just forget about it. But I think most likely the graphic wouldnt be that jaw dropping since they have to take into consideration of battery life as well, in which is a major hold back for handheld devices since better graphic means more power drained.

By the spec, it seems much more powerful than current ds with 600mhz arm compared to the current ds arm proc 66mhz! What do u guys think about the upcoming ds 2?

Ya, that's what I thought too! Geforce 9 based might sound good but I doubt can it even match the power of 8 series mobile. The best it can go might be more or less same as wii. Just that I hope that it can be better than expected since ninty always take the path of inferior graphic compared to its competitor.

oh hey wait, the success of DS has told the world that they do not need great graphic to be FUN.

Ya, gameplay is the most important, but it'll be a plus if better graphic capability is added! This at least give the developers the choice to go with the better graphic path or stay with simple graphic if they want to. But chances of going with better graphic than expected might be slim anyway. I wonder what innovation can they come up with other than better graphic in their next gen handheld.

I wonder why they named it DSi LL instead of DSi XL since the LL means extra large. Most who prefer portability will pass on this one since it's larger and only mean for older people. While they are at it, why dont they increase the d-pad and buttons size a bit as well since older people have bigger hand generally.
