Mine suffer the same fate last week. YLOd. 40gb sg set which i bought almost 2 years ago. Bought thermal paste n heat gun. DIY according to youtube guide n whoila, my ps3 is back to normal. Left it on overnight after the process to test and it came out perfect.
How long it will last ? Won't know but next time, i will reflux it. Cost me rm110 for the heat gun n thermal paste n 2 hours of my time. |

the thermal paste i m using is tuniq tx-2. Costs me abt rm21. Will try better thermal paste in future.
