For that price, i would rather get a Nissan Fairlady 350zx.

Newer yr 2004 for around RM150k.

I've read from some guys, it is the cheapest maintenance sports (not kancik cheap ok).

Fairlady is 3.5L  Road tax is 4380 per year.
If its the old boxter at 2.5 litre, road tax is 880 ringgit

Keep 5 years already 17500 ringgit difference in price of road tax..

But seriously, how is the cost of maintenance of a 13 year old boxster. Does anyone know?
I'm also interested in that.
There seems to be a lot of Old boxsters for sale now. All 13 years old going for about 150K myr.
Seems like Malaysia is now a dumping ground for Old Porsche Boxsters.

What i like about boxsters is of course the sound, the look and the raw power, without turbo. or cam profile switiching.
Good raw bass sound from the engine and pipes.
Rear wheel drive with mid engine.
I don't mind the soft top also as i have covered parking.
I saw a proper manual transmission one for sale last week. 1997, about 150K.
Really thought of getting one then..

Not that keen on fairlady.
Heavy car, very common, handles with more difficulty than the boxster.
Doesn't really look timeless compared to the boxster.
its like comparing apples to oranges.

But Fairlady always looks great with lots of dressing up though smile.gif
