Best choice below 30k would definitely be TOYOTA COROLLA AE111 (1600CC).
Both Auto & manual transmission are available.
This 15-year-old car can still roar, haha.

Greeting to all.

need some advise
between Toyota rush & nissan grand livina (brand new)
which one 'save minyak' and not so high maintenance.

I'm a mother of 2 teens + 1 baby . travel a lot with kids.

planning tp DP 30k. and mthly installment around 1k.

plse help mommmy ya....kind of 'pening' dont knw which one tp choose
*
both are different type.
Grand Livina is sort of expanded Alza, or smaller version of Innova.
Rush is kind of KEMBARA laugh.gif
I think you'll need an Exora.

tks dear.
dont like ezora...alza...or to be specific 'proton' la...tht's why mommy fall in love with livina & rush...both 'cun'...
livina look very family type of car
rush more sporty (in my point of view la).

juz need to knw the save minyak and maintenance wise.

mommy knw nothing abt car
*
Livina is relatively more comfortable than Rush.
Don't just think cun or not cun, think for the passengers too.
For your case, I would vote Livina.

1. Brand : Nissan Ad Resort
2. Budget : Below 20k
3. New/Used/Unreg : Used of coz
4. Specs : 1.6 california or wingroad style sweat.gif
5. Transmission : Auto ? ( is it fuel efficient? coz lazy drive manual already )
6. NA or FI :  NA
7. Type :
8. Remarks :

was fall in love with this car all of a sudden.

is it worth to own it ?

my main concern is fc and maintenance wise.

was thinking to get auto transmission since manual is tiring during jam.

pls advise.  notworthy.gif
My parent is using AD Resort (M) year 1995 , don't know it's california or wingroad.
Fuel consumption is 7.4-8.0 km/L, 100% city drive.
Spare parts like drive shaft, arm bush, oil seal, clutch/brake/gear related parts are still easily available.

Here goes... what can you suggest?

1. Brand: Open, Toyota? Ford? Nissan?
2. Budget: RM10-15k
3. New/Used/Unreg: Used
4. Specs: 5 seater, max engine capacity 1.6liter (to avoid paying >RM100 road tax)
5. Transmission: Manual preferably
6. NA or FI? NA
7. Type: Sedan
8. Remarks: To be used for short distances/city only maybe 3 times a week, will be low mileage use (like 5k in 9 months). Which second hand cars below RM15k is suitable/reliable and relatively affordable maintenance (say RM200 per 5k service, and not much repairs >RM1k)
*
A toyota corolla AE92 is about that price.
Don't look at those which modded engines. Original is preferred.

That sentence is meant to reply those who want cheap small cars yet powerful pick up.
Get real, man. If can't afford, then pls don't think about power lar, horsepower la, torque lar etc...
Same thing goes to big cars. If you could already afford the car price, does FC really bother you?

Hi,

I guess only the Japanese T brand can match those criterion. But since you want spaciousness, I have no idea what car is spacious at the price range given by you.

More information would be good.
What you need the car for?
going outstation often?
If unsure with budget, what is your capacity for monthly installments.

Hi, currently I'm considering to buy a new car, is either Proton Saga FL or Perodua Viva.
The advantage of Viva is more fuel economy than Saga, while Saga obviously has bigger capacity and power than Viva.
Usually I only use my car to drive to work, and occasionally maybe to city center.
So guys, what's your thought?
*
you already have figured out the pros and cons of both cars. So, which do you prefer? FC or space or power?

I'm thinking about the durability (Long term performance) and also the amount of maintenance that is expected to incur. Apparently I heard Saga needs higher maintenance than Viva, not sure how true is this.
Any comment?
Btw, can I buy the car with full cash and no loan? Or it is a must to apply for loan?
*
Why not? as long the money is from legal source, you can buy whatever you want.
