let say if i were to buy the swift, is it a good buy? as currently a few of my friend told me to also consider on the basic almera.
well, there are a few things i don't really like about the newest swift.previous one was 1500cc the newest one is 1400cc, less 100cc not too sure if there will be any performance drop
as previous swift engine was said to be a little underpowered/geared wrongly thus for spirited drivers they usually feel the pinch of having to go to the pump more often, now I don't know if the new engine/gearbox would make this situation worse or fix it -- however, new engine/gearbox means new parts so you cannot take advantage of the abundant spare parts of the previous generation.
secondly, it doesn't look like an all-new model, of course they reworked the front and rear but the middle looks unchanged
don't go buy one just yet....because there are still a few more models yet to launch....like the Picanto

performance: about equal as both aren't made to be driven really hard, more of a poser car, the TT uses turbocharged smaller capacity engine while the fairlady uses a larger capacity naturally aspirated engine so its power is more linear than the TT.prestige: TT because it is german
maintenance: about equal, because although the roadtax for the fairlady is a killer it is only once a year, and of course the maintenance for the TT is higher but that's like 1000 bucks plus minus for minor maintenance and 2000 bucks plus minues for major maintenance, so it works to about equal based on this two heaviest must pays per year.

Hi.looking for a hybrid..planning to get a used/recon Lexus CT200H around RM130k.If Recon, got warranty 1 year...hopefully this model will not have any major problem. Any pro or cons of getting this model ? Thanks.
Recon won't be that price.130k is on the low side even for used car.
Basically, it is about the same internally as the Prius except with the Lexus badge it becomes more expensive.

1. Brand : VW , AUDI , BMW
2. Budget : 150k
3. New/Used/Unreg : Used or Unreg
4. Specs : any
5. Transmission : Auto
6. NA or FI : Both also can , hopefully can at least a 200hp above
7. Type : any
8. Remarks : I was thinking about GTi, scirocco, E90 325 and what else can you recommend?
You can easily reach that performance with these:2. Budget : 150k
3. New/Used/Unreg : Used or Unreg
4. Specs : any
5. Transmission : Auto
6. NA or FI : Both also can , hopefully can at least a 200hp above
7. Type : any
8. Remarks : I was thinking about GTi, scirocco, E90 325 and what else can you recommend?
2008 VW Scirocco 2.0 GT, 2009 VW Golf GTI 3-doors, 2008 VW Golf GTI MK5 5-doors - the trio above all uses the same engine and gearbox, the difference only is the body styling. Some people like a real low sling sleek coupe but seating is mostly for 2 people with the rear seats only large enough for a chi-hua-hua, then some others prefer 2+2 seating with the 3 door version of the Golf (which is a hatch), then some can't do without 4 seats with family commitments so the GTI is only option.
