3 months of waiting is not a waste...the patch that can justice my GC finally released...they just did the same thing like undercover patch, now my 4850 can full load all the time, with max setting @ 1280X1024, FPS always hit 60fps during race, even i play 15 opponents and start at the end, still manage to get >45fps...

I installed the game since the 1st day it released, only play for few %, can't stand with those micro shuttering and low fps during many opponents, then stop for 3 months to wait for the patch...

I think i will be busy racing from now on, becos got this game + Dirt 2 now... cry.gif

Today just got my 1st ever steering wheel Logitech Driving Force GT, and start playing this game since 10 months ago. tongue.gif

Anyway, with the wheel this game is extremely hard to play doh.gif Maybe i'm not get use to it or what, but i feel the force feedback is 'over'. I understand the 'centering force' which hard to steer, what i feel hard is they automatic correct the steering wheel to another direction during cornering, even on straight. Why huh? is that the game physics?

I played F1 2010 with this wheel and set force feedback to 100% and it just work awesome, set fastest lap by just running <20laps, but not in Shift. Any advise? I found that force feedback '10' and '3' got different in handling, with '10' the wheel turn to left when i turn rite, while with '3' and below i can manually correct the car. hmm.gif

Ya i used to play Shift with my previous MOMO too, and the FFB from Shift is very VERY heavy and over, just like u said, it automatic counter steer everytime I steer, even on str8 roads, if I don't hold the wheel firmly, it'll wobble from left to right..

Well I solve the problem by turning off FFB and playing without it..

Ya, i also notice after off FFB or set it <3 it much easier for me. The problem is with this option off, the auto counter steer also gone according to this setting (i notice inside the cockpit view). Not really right i have to say, suppose the counter steer is done by player, but not auto. Really no idea why they did so. hmm.gif

Anyway, i will try to play this game till finish with this wheel, last time i only reach tier 20 with keyboard, after that totally unplayable, especially with those fast car, 1st few corner my engine hood and rear lamp are almost gone. laugh.gif
