rm5k is neither here nor there...
a full fledge gaming laptop is still quite a margin away (rm6k), but overkill for high-end entertainment laptops (rm4k)
and no, i7 won't give u more frames compared to C2D except for Resident Evil 5... chances re u may be better off getting C2Q instead...
u can try MSI's gaming series... the graphic card is one of the best u can get, but at a smaller price tag than others like Alienware... else it will be SXPS16 (C2D), Asus N51Vn (C2D + GT 240M) or BenQ S57 (C2D + HD4650), all abt rm4k
---------------------------------------------------------------
I choose i7 ( quad ) because i'm in video and photo editing which is very good to me and i heard that games in the future will be getting more advantage in Quads than duo too. Even though duo core kicks ass right now, for future purpose i think i'll stick with i7 better.
For what u said MSI gaming series? i love them.. GTS, GTX nice graphic cards... but i don't see anyone selling them nor putting price tags in MSI online, i even tried asking in lowyat forum though, but seems no hope. So, i ended up choosing Dell. Any helps abt MSI gaming laptop prices?
I wonder if HD4670 + i7 2.8ghz can help me record gaming gameplays' smoothly using fraps? I don't know whether fraps uses the graphic card more or the processor of the laptop more.. So, any ideas? I've been planning making fallout 3 videos in high-res but i'm worried about the frame rate when recording.... the main thing i concern about this rig is the graphic card.... 4670.... Ati's been up to 5 series now which makes me feel really bad about this laptop...
So, any useful recommendations? try answering my questions too...
Your help will be appreciated..
