hey guys, need help, which one is better in performance to play games and overall?
Asus K40IN with NVIDIA® GeForce® G102M (512MB Dedicated memory)
or
MSI Entertainment Series EX460 ( ATI HD4330 3D graphic card with DDR2 512)
or
Gigabyte Gaming Series W468N-1240 NVIDIA GeForce 5400M GS 256 memory

tight budget (<3k), cannot afford hi end gaming series... sad.gif

QUOTE(astria @ Oct 26 2009, 07:04 PM)
i suggest Dell Studio 15 (T6500 + HD4570, rm2699 and up) or BenQ S42 (P8700 + 9600M GT, rm2799-rm2899) instead...

hurm...
I'm prefer 14" or 13"
is there any dell studio 14 with the similar spec n price as you stated for dell 15?

the BenQ S42 appearances doesn't seem attractive. tongue.gif

does it mean asusu k40ab have the new spec? can gimme link to see the diff btween old ver and new ver of k40ab biggrin.gif
is it good compared to asus k40ab?

and how bout the toshiba L series? is it worth to buy it?
*
you can refer here, http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1194684
The new k40/K50AB now comes with Turion RM75 2.2GHz instead of Athlon QL64/65 2.1GHz, which supposed to be slightly faster and more power efficient
(taken from the thread. tongue.gif)

lenovo spec is also very good for laptop under 2k.
although the gc is slightly lower than the k40ab, but it used intel c2d proc and ddr3 ram. (I personally prefer intel proc compared to amd biggrin.gif )

Any suggestion for Asus notebook from 3-4k for gaming, movie and assignment?

asus U80V series can fit your budget.

I don't think UL series is good for gaming because of the proc.

ahh pink thats epic  , you cant go wrong wih that tongue.gif  so how about the performance  between xps and inspiron  when it comes to normal surfing , typing  works ,

some accounting software , normal girl games ( maybe like zuma , puzzle game , facebook game) , watch movie ... but im guessing they are much alike right ?
*
well yeah. pretty much alike except for the gc.. studio for sure pawn inspiron, but since you're using just for light games, its far more than enough.
the proc is pretty decent, c2d P series. not a prob for surfing (opening tons of multiples tabs tongue.gif ) and other works.
