Hi peeps,

My wife needs a laptop/notebook. School teacher, needs it for watching utube videos on my home wifi (haha) and some typing assignments (school stuff).

1. Brand. -> Any brand is OK
2. Budget. -> less than RM2000 (but can stretch to 2.5k)
3. Specs. -> Should last for next 3 years
4. Size. -> around 14 inch is ok, weight not much issue.

Can you buy online from any sellers here in lowyat and have it shipped to me in Kedah? Or better buy from a local hi street retailer?

Thanks in advance.

in that case, CULV is ur choice...

Asus UL series, Acer Timeline series, Dell Inspiron z series... take ur pick... they all have roughly the same spec anyway...

hi guys, looking to get a new laptop:

budget is below 5k.

will be using the computer for normal school assignments and some gaming. just need a computer that will run a few programs together at once without lagging up.

size between 2-3kg would be fine.

and im open to pretty much all brands as long as the price is reasonable, checked out the sony vaio CW, specs seem pretty good but if there are others out there, please enlighten me smile.gif

su4100 is intel processor, underclocked and undervolted core 2 duo processor
acer 1410T and acer 1810TZ should be around 1.5k-1.9k

acer 1410T

acer 1810TZ

this setup would have better performance than netbook while maintaining almost same weight and battery life smile.gif

usage? screen preferences?

the inspiron 14 is fine for normal usage and some light gaming.
