i think if u buy now they probably still ship with XP, and XP is not eligible for Win7 Upgrade...

so u may want to wait 1 or 2 more weeks and see how first...

128 bit bus width mobile GPU for under 2k? That's absurd really, no offense.

Your best bet would be the Asus K40A with a 64 bit HD4570 and free DOS.

hey guys, need help, which one is better in performance to play games and overall?
Asus K40IN with NVIDIA® GeForce® G102M (512MB Dedicated memory)
or
MSI Entertainment Series EX460 ( ATI HD4330 3D graphic card with DDR2 512)
or
Gigabyte Gaming Series W468N-1240 NVIDIA GeForce 5400M GS 256 memory

tight budget (<3k), cannot afford hi end gaming series... sad.gif

Studio 14 uses P8700 with HD4530... and cost more than rm3k...

well, for 14" with rm3k, S42 is the best u can get, and at a pretty bargain price too... for other brands it would be Dell Studio 14, Asus U80V (T6500 with HD4570, rm3199)...

abt 1 week ago S42 was still selling at rm3250...

Weight and screen size kinda go hand in hand for most average consumer laptops. In any case, no gaming at all?
