Hehe, waiting for your job done then...

Hmm, quite interested on the dashboard wrapping actually, becos now my car put under hot sun from 8am-6pm everyday, scare the dashboard will 'crack' soon... laugh.gif

Does an expensive tint significantly reduce the heat that enters my car during the day? Which tint is the best in terms of heat reduction?

My car comes with Safetint which doesn't exactly protect my leather interior from the hot sun.

Just came back from my 1K service. SC tried to con me by including RM 50 for compressor oil.

I asked what the compressor oil is for and the salesperson told me its for the air con. She says "kita buang sikit, taruh baru punya sikit". Riiiight, my air con is still freaking cold!

Total cost is RM 115 for semi-synthetic oil, oil filter and gasket.

Guys, my Saga SE's cd player has MP3 capabilities. Have 2 questions.

1st question - Should I burn the cd as an AUDIO CD or DATA CD?

2nd question - Is it possible to have different folders in an audio cd? Will the player recognize the folders?

QUOTE(NewAchiever @ Jan 11 2010, 08:53 AM)

Imagine this, we switch to the first level - is low lamp (for evening use)
Then we switch to the second level - we have the choice of bright lamp and highlight (Extremely bright lamp)

At the second level, how we switch between Bright Lamp and Highlight is by pulling the level towards you (Imagine you are blinking your lamp at ppl but you are pulling it more until the lamp switched).
The way we know whether we are in Bright Lamp and Highlight is to look for the light up Blue "highlight icon" at the same place where you view all the warning icon.

If it is highlight initially ~ pull the level towards you until the Blue icon dissappear ~ Now you in Bright Light (Middle Level) suitable for night use ~

Hope this is clear ~ But most of the time i will use Low Lamp and Foglamp as the road lamp is already  bright enough, unless i am driving in stark dark area, then i will use the BRight Lamp but never Highlight lamps
*
I found out about the highlight through the car manual. Everything is explained clearly in the manual. Felt a little bit uncomfortable pushing the stalk towards me to enable the highlight since it feels really flimsy.

Apparently, SE models are jacked up slightly higher than regular models. I've always been wondering why my car is so high and after I made a side-by-side comparison between my SE and another M-Line model, I discovered the difference.

Should I go jack my car down slightly or continue using it as it is? I think car's handling is slightly affected la if height is too high.

What do you guys think?

my SAGA SE i took on my first day have got prob too, but mine is just 'lari' frequency after i have played my cd and switch back to radio. advice by the normal proton SC at jalan ipoh is that i have to bring to the proton HQ at kesas there to fix or change, up to them.  yawn.gif

As usual, Proton's quality control is a hit and miss affair. My friend just recently took delivery of a new Saga SE (after being persuaded by me hehehe) and has not encountered any problem thus far. Only thing he loathed was water entering the car's engine bay when he goes to a car wash which imo not exactly a problem, more of a design flaw perhaps...

My car is a Saga SE Automatic. This is my fuel consumption.

RM 30 of petrol gives me 122 km which means its 24.5 cents every km...uhhhhh is that good or bad?

100% city driving in Penang.

That's scary. Have to go and check my OEM bodykit to see if it's bolted correctly to the chassis.

It took 3 weeks for my Saga SE to arrive after booking. Depends on luck. Sometimes its very fast, sometimes its agonizingly slowwww.

Uhh, does the leakage leave a stain on the ground? What color is it? A bit concerned about my Saga SE since so many people complain about this problem.

wondering why does they paint it in black instead of everything whole white...

if black on the hood, then im might understood...

any reason?

Car looks much more sporty with a black roof, IMO la.

Maybe Proton wants to copy BMW M3's carbon fiber roof top hahaha.

What's the difference between 10w - 40 and 15w - 50?

My SC gave me Petronas 15w - 50.
